He Saved My Life

~ Chapter one ~

"Look guys, Shawns new picture on instagram is soooo cool!", "Omg, my life would be completed if I met Shawn", "His following amount is growing so fast, I am so proud of him!". This is a few of the million things I tell my friends about Shawn every single day in school and more. This boy is always on my mind, and when I say always, I mean always. 24/7 actually.

My friends may get annoyed when I always tell them about Shawn, but I just can't help it. I don't think that they know what he have done for me, even though he doesn't know who I am, and even though I never have met him before.

My classmates always tell me, that I don't know him, that I can't say that he is my everything when I don't know him, and more. The only thing that comes out from their mouth is that I can't say that a human that I don't know, is my all. They don't know what he have done for me. If they only knew, they would maybe understand, because this boy is more than a singer for me. He is more than a famous person for me. He saved my life. He have helped me through the hardest part of my life. He have just been there, not in a physical way, but in a way that's enough to make me so extremely happy.
"Sometimes, people that are thousands of miles away, can make you feel better than people right beside you".

Oh yeah, I should maybe tell you about myself also. Hi! My name is Melissa, and I am just an average girl in the age of 15 who loves to sing, draw and stalk Shawn (haha).
I am in 8th grade and I really do love school, and hanging out with my friends.

So, I have been a fan of Shawn since 2015. One day I went to check the toplist on my Spotify account, and a song called "Stitches" was on the toplist. I thought "Why not listen to it?", so I grapped my headphones and layed in my bed while listening to the famous pop song. The song was so special and I totally fell in love with it directly. It was exactly my music taste and the song made me wanna dance, so much.

I added the song to my playlist with my favourite songs right now, and I totally spammed the song. It was just so good, and I had it stucked in my brain all the time.

After a while, I checked out the singer who made the song. I went to the song "Stitches" and clicked further to the option were you can check out the singer who have made the song. I came to the singers profile, and just by reading his name "Shawn Mendes", I already fell in love.

Two albums and some older songs was what I saw when I came to his profile. "Handwritten" and "Handwritten Revisited". It was the same album, but the difference is that the revisited version has the live performances of the songs that's in "Handwritten". I listened to some songs and the only thing I could think about, was "He is so talented".

I totally fell in love with "Kid in love", "Never be alone", "Act like you love me" and "Running low". I realised that I couldn't live without his songs, because I listened to them all the time. After less than a month, my playlist was full with songs from Shawn. ,
Where have I been my whole life? Why haven't I seen and listened to this talented human being before?

When I was on my way to school, I had a song from Shawn in my headphones. When I went home from school, when I was at home, when I did my workout, homework and drew, every time, I had songs from Shawn on. When you start listen to him, you can't stop. His songs are just so special, he is special.
