I'm standing alone in the dark room. I hear footsteps pounding against the wood flooring. My heart is racing inside of my chest. It feels like it's going to burst with fear. The footsteps are getting louder and closer. My mind starts to rush with all of the existing memories of home. Why does this have to keep happening? What did I do to deserve this nightmare?
All of the sudden, the dark room is illuminated with a bright light. The door has opened. It's him. The monster."You're gonna get it now!" the monster growls at me.
I can't do anything. My body is paralyzed with fear. All I can do is watch cowardly as the monster comes closer and closer. I can hear the monstrous growls of anger coming from the figure.
Suddenly the bright illuminated room goes dark. I'm falling. The ground feels like it has caved in. What's happening?Suddenly I woke up. I slowly gazed around the room. It's the same as it was in the dream. I can still hear the monsters screams. Wait no. It's not his. It's Tommy's. Then I realized that it wasn't a dream. It was real.
