Lucy is 17 and 8 months pregnant. She was born and raised catholic and wears a small gold cross around her neck so abortion was never something she considered. She got pregnant because she had sex just once with this guy named Jake at a party, they were both drunk, something Lucy had never done before. Jake doesn't look her in the eyes anymore or say hi when they pass in the halls at school. Lucy's grades are slipping, she's always tired with school and work. Her job at Mcdonalds is supposed to help her afford an apartment because her parents kicked her out two weeks ago. At the end of a long day she lies down on her best friend's couch with a sudoku book.
