Chapter 29- Studio Time

When I woke up, I was singing a sing. I made when I was in high school. I got up out of bed, quietly and walked down to the basement. Latavia and the boys were asleep. When I got to the studio, I started setting up the equipment. I sat down and cleared my voice. Then began singing from my soul. I was thinking about how I was treated by my ex in high school. I dated two boys and they both treated me so bad. My first boy friend, he cheated, put his hands on me and everything. Plus at the time I didn't even know Latavia, well we went to the same school, we just didn't know each other yet. I met her while I was dating my second boy friend, she was the one who told me he was cheating on me with my bully. Yes, hard to believe I was bullied in high school, that was freshmen year tho. But out of all my friends, she was the one who told me and we weren't. After that, she fought them and we jumped my boy friend. Since then we've been best friends.

"Who that's about.?" Someone asked, as the door came opened, I looked up and it was Offset.

"Oh hey, I thought u was Takeoff, but its about an old friend. No one important." I explained, he nodded his head and smiled.

"I like it and I like yo voice too. Its nice, u should stick with singing." He said, smiling. I smiled too then laughed.

"Ya, u right." I smirked, turning back around to look at what I had so far. "But it sounds good? I don't need to make any changes.?"

"Hell nah, u change something. Ima punch yo ass." He said with a serious face then laughed.

"Ok, damn. I won't change then. If u gotta do all that." I said, saving my work on the computer, then burning the CD. "Thank u, Offset."

"U welcome. U gon let Takeoff listen to it.?" He asked, with a look of wonder in his eyes.

"Ya, not right now tho. Maybe some other time." I said, reaching for him to help me up.

"U know u finna get so big." He said laughing, helping me up, slowly.

"So, shut up. Don't rub it in." I said, pushing him, as we both laughed on our way upstairs.

"Where u go? We was looking for u." Latavia said, looking in the frig for some food.

"I was in the studio." I said, waving the CD in her face.

"No, u didn't. Let me hear it." She said, grabbing it, putting it in the CD player.

"Bug ass." I said, as Takeoff came downstairs with Quavo behind him.

"Who is that.?" He asked, looking over at Latavia. She looked at him then at me with a smirk on her face. "That's u. Ok, I see u. Who is it about.?"

"An old friend, that ain't shit." Latavia said, rolling her eyes then laugh. "Alex, u wanna go somewhere today.?"

"Actually, yes I do. Can we go to the mall, please.?" I asked, latavia shook her head, as I smiled and walked upstairs to me and Takeoff's to find something to wear.
