Tyler
School actually wasn't that bad today. I met Chris' friend Nick Thomas, and and it was basically just us three hanging out all day. As it turns out, all three of us play music. I play piano and I guess I can kind of sing, Chris plays the drums, and Nick plays bass guitar and the keyboard a little bit. At the end of school, Chris and Nick left, and I stayed a little bit and tried to make some new friends.
I noticed a blond girl standing all alone at the front door, and it looked like she was waiting for someone. And this girl was hot too. So I decided that I would go up and try talking to her.
"Hi," I said, "You waiting for someone?"
"Yeah, I'm just waiting for my dad to come pick me up," She responded, "I would usually walk home, but my dad offered to drive me home. What about you?"
"Oh yeah, I'm just waiting for my mom to pick me up," I lied. "So, you got a name?"
"Yeah," She said.
"So... You wanna tell me it?" I asked.
She laughed. "Haha, maybe I will, maybe I won't."
"Well, my name is Tyler," I said, "Tyler Joseph."
"Yeah, I know," She said, "All the girls were talking about you."
I couldn't help but blush. "The girls were talking about me?"
She smiled. "Yeah, you're the 'hot new kid.'"
Before I could respond, a dark green van came up next to us.
"Well, that's my ride," She said, getting into the van. "My name's Jenna, by the way. Jenna Black."
She drove away, and I was standing there alone. That girl is different. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop thinking about her on the walk back to my house.
