He wakes up to a loud crash in the next room, yet it startles him for yet another reason. This crash, it was louder than the other ones. There's always crashes in the facility. the other "child" in the next room over always caused them, Frank was special. He was louder than the others. The guards always went into his cell to quiet him but yet no one knew what they did to him. Adam could hear the guards soft whispers about Frank, they were nothing good about him except for one guard. Adam would have to press his ear against this small hole in the glass. The guard Snow felt bad for what they did, these things they used were only used by the higher staff. Everyone else had the usual baton and taser gun. Snow was nice to Adam, they would have brief conversations rarely. But besides that Adam was alone. Forgettable.
Adam's daily routine was always the same, Wake up, eat breakfast, eat dinner, then sleep. sometimes Adam went to this strange place he couldn't describe. He would be in and out. only around a certain time of the year. He always thought to himself it strange that they did that, but yet the tests were painful and exhausting. He doesn't know what goes on during the tests. Sometimes the head of the facility, Bruno CaulderVilt would put on loud speaker of how there's something new for a guard to do, another experiment failed, another helpless person being used for curiosity. Now garbage, lifeless. Adam felt nothing, just pain, being cold and lonely. Adam always wanted to cry for help but knew it was of no hope. No one cared about Adam, not even himself.
One night when Adam woke up it was quiet, usually there's guards walking around, on patrol. But this was different. The lights were off and his cell was open. He had a sudden rush of curiosity as to whats outside but also a sense of fear as to whats causing this, this reality. Adam pushes himself against a wall and leans his head out a little. But enough to see the opposite way of the hallway. Nothing, as if he was floating into the endless void of space. He peeks his head out the right side of the cell. there's a walkway but not the usual one that was there. It looked gravelly and cold. his bear feet slowly step onto it, He tenses as he feels the cold surge through his body. He goes to see if Frank is in his cell. there is no cell. As he slowly walks carefully along this path it develops before his very eyes. Something tells him something if off with this place. He starts to feel as if there are eyes watching him from everywhere, he starts to hear stepping sounds. He thinks they're his stepping so he stops walking. The sound keeps going and gets louder and louder as he waits. Adam starts running something tells him this isn't real. Adam keeps on running for minutes that feel more and more like hours, then days. Adam stop dead in his path. Heart racing faster and faster as he hears the sound come closer to him. A huge shadow just darkens the place more than it was. He looks up in front of him. He sees a strange and grimacing figure appear in front of him. It speaks in a deep gravelly voice that speaks loudly. "Adam!" it echoes.
