"Allen, You need to clean up this lab. The transfer from Star City shall be here any moment now." Captain Singhs' dreading voice rang through my ears. "Will do Captain." I sighed, my eyes never leaving the forensics report that had to be turned in today at 2 pm but its' currently 4 pm and the report was far from being done.

"I also want that report on my desk at 5, no later Mr. Allen. You cannot keep doing this." He said before exiting my lab leaving me alone once again.

I sighed and began to furiously type on the keyboard. My lab filled with complete silence, the only sound that was heard was the constant clicking of the keyboard. I sighed, my hands rubbing my face in relief, knowing I had finished the report. I printed it out and quickly speeded downstairs and back to the lab.

I quickly cleaned up the lab and opened the gray metal locker taking my jacket from the sudden coldness in the lab.

"Are you Barry Allen?" A small voice spoke, lifting my eyes to meet the gaze of two brown eyes.

"Uh, yes. Who are you?" I asked brushing my green jacket, The voice once again spoke, "I'm Ambahr Morales. The transfer from Star City." She finished with a small smile planted on her face.

"When they said, Forensic Scientist Morales, I assumed it was a guy, I'd be working with." She giggled softly, "Unfortunately you're stuck with me." She smiled, she extended her hand towards me.

"It's nice to meet you Ambahr. Well I actually just finished the lab, I'm about to begin the next one, care to help?" I smiled, and she nodded her head lightly.

-

"Barry, care to invite your girlfriend to dinner with us? Or do you think we are to embarrassing?" Joe teased, he had been pestering me the entire week. They wanted me to invite Ambahr to dinner. They being Iris, Joe, Wally, Caitlin, and Cisco.

"First off she's not my girlfriend, she's just a friend. If I invite her, promise not to bring up her being my girlfriend?" I asked, Joe stifled a laugh, quickly bringing himself together.

"I can promise it, but, don't count to much on the others. They are all like tenth graders all over again. Teasing and Immature." Joe said, and I sighed knowing what I was getting myself into.

-

I walked into Ambahr and I's shared lab, she was typing on the computer. "Hey Ambahr." I said, she glanced up at me, giving me a small smile.

"Whats' up Barry? You seem flushed." She asking shutting the laptop and placing her full attention on me.

"It's nothing." I said, she furrowed her eyebrows before placing her hand under her chin.

"Barry." She warned causing me to sigh knowing there is no way of getting out of the situation I'm currently in. "Joe wants you to come over for dinner, but-" She cut me off, "Nothing good comes from a mid sentence but."

She giggled, "Sorry Bar, continue." She smiled at me, "I already know Iris, Cisco, and Caitlin will not stop teasing you and me about you being my girlfriend." Using in air quotations on the word Girlfriend.

"But is it really that bad to be classified as your girlfriend? I mean come on, I'm pretty sure girls will line up at your door to be your girlfriend." She said, her brown eyes meeting my green ones.

"I guess not, What time should I pick you up?" I smiled at her confidence.

"7 will be great Bar."

-

My palms were sweaty, I was nervous to even be here. Ambahr was a gorgeous girl, she knew how to make you laugh when you're down. When you thought there was no tomorrow, she always made you see the light.

White daises in my right hand as I raised my left hand to knock on her door. There was really no backing out now.

"I'll be there in a second." Her voice muffled due to the shut door. One minute later, the locks to her home began to unlock. She opened her door, she stood on the other side of the threshold.

Her hair into flawless curls, her outfit simple, a plain strawberry pink shirt, and a black pencil pencil skirt, paired with her black ankle boots.

"You look amazing Ambahr." I said, astonished on how different she looked. "Thank you Barry, you don't look to bad yourself." She smiled, stepping out her home and locking the door interlocking her hand with mine.

"Let's get going." I smiled as we walked down the hall of her apartment complex.

-

"Thank you so much for dinner Detective." Ambahr smiled towards Joe. "Not a problem, glad Barry decided to invite his girlfriend to dinner."

"Joe." I moaned causing to Ambahr to erupt into a series of giggles. "It's not funny Amb." I said and she slowly rubbed my back.

"Barry, it's okay." She said softly. "Barry, if you don't whip her up, I will." Cisco said playfully, sending him a glare he put both his hands up in surrender.

"It's late, I should get going. I have to be at CCPD at 7 tomorrow morning." Ambahr said and she sent me a small smile, "I'll see you tomorrow?" She asked.

"I'll walk you home, you shouldn't go alone, and you'll always see me." I assured her and she interlocked her hand with mine,

"It was a lovely dinner, thank you so much." Ambahr smiled, "I'll see you guys tomorrow morning." She said waving to everyone.

-

"Thank you for a lovely dinner Barry." She spoke, we were currently seating on her love seat.

"Not a problem Ambahr, you're always welcomed." I said, kissing her cheek.

"I didn't mind them teasing you, it was kinda fun, Playing pretend you know." She said taking off her boots.

and our magical night ended with a kiss, one where the both of us wanted to happen. she loved me and i loved her more than she can imagine.
