After a week, Natalie started to adapt to her new kind of life and was dealing with the fact that she killed someone in order to became a vampire. Ansel helped Natalie with this vampire situation and they seemed to be even more connected than before.

Lydia and Stiles stayed in the Quarter for a few days but then they had to go back to their lives because they were trying to have a normal(ish) life.

Klaus was happy that Caroline opened up to him but was mad that he couldn't do a thing about Damon and that his hybrids still hadn't find the man who rapped Caroline when she was kidnapped.

Katerina and Elijah had to make a pause in their wedding plans because now it wasn't a good time to get distracted, however the wedding wasn't off, just postponed.

Scott was the only one who knew about Hope's dreams about Klaus but he believed it could be nothing and tried to calm Hope down.

Freya went sometimes to Kai's place so they could talk and he could help her finding out a way to make those visions that she had not happen.

Klaus's POV

I was talking with Ansel about me and Caroline and told him that Caroline finally told me that Damon abused her.

"I still can't believe Caroline actually told you about Damon."

"Why? Caroline shouldn't trust me or something like that?"

"No. Nothing like that." Ansel quickly said. "I just said that because I was the only one who knew that was Damon who abused her, the others still have no clue who he is."

"What? I'm sure Bonnie knows."

"No. Bonnie believes that Damon and Caroline were together because they both wanted." Ansel told me.

"Wow..." I said to myself.

I can't believe she had been through that all alone...

"I know. So screwed up..." He said making me look at him weirdly. "What? Am I not saying it right?"

"Why don't you talk just like you used to... ? you know, when I was human..."

"Because that was a long time ago and I am trying to adapt to the life in 21st century."

"Alright. Don't take this the wrong way but, when you try to talk like people from the 21st century, you seem like those parents who try to seem cool but in the end they just seem sad."

"How am I not suppose to take the wrong way in what you said? I'm just trying to be like people of this times. And I think I'm almost there. I know how to text using smiling faces, I know how to make a video or take pictures with my phone and I know how to use that lady inside of my phone... I just don't use it because I don't really trust her." Ansel said.

"Look, I'm just saying it was better if you tried less and just be yourself. And by the way, smiling faces are now called emojis and the lady on your phone is Siri, people put a program there to help you."

"That's what they want you to think."

"Who are they?"

"The computers and robots. Everyone knows that they will try to raise and try to make us slaves. They are smart... too smart."

"That won't happen."

"Then why there are so many movies about it? People are trying to warn us without getting themselves at risk. The problem is that everyone thinks it's all fake."

"Well, if that happens we will just plug out the machines." I joked.

"It won't be that easy, but is good to see you optimist." He said.

"Alright... How are things with Natalie?" I said trying to change subject.

"They are good. She is starting to deal with everything and she has me and Caroline and everyone, which I think it makes things easier." Ansel said.

"If you or Natalie need something, you can come to me. You know that, right?"

"Thank you, son." He said and then we hugged.
