What lays beneath the water

Harry...
His eyelashes fluttered a little.
I shake him but he doesn't wake up.
What did kacee scold me on?
Oh yea mouth to mouth.

Please kacee i know i told you i wasn't going to talk to him but let me save him?

I bring my lips to his and my hand makes his lips part.
I blow air in to his mouth and i feel his chest rise and fall.
He opens his eyes.
I point to the other side of the docks and he nods slowly.
His fingers touch mine and i pull him till he'a swimming with me.

We finally reach the beach and we walk to shore.
"Kaela what was that?" He asks.
"I can't stop it" i murmer.
"Not that the mouth to mouth" i look up and see him smirking.
"No more talking to me" i mutter while walking away.
He grabs my wrist and i see the water slowly rising to our ankles.

"I did enjoy it" he murmers.
"Kaela! Oh dear god your alive" i hear kacee yell.
I pull away from harry and run to her.
"How do i stop it?" I say softly.
"What did you do?" She asked concerned.

"Besides the water freezing me making water spray tryston in the face and breaking glass?" I ask.
"I have healing and making water heat up also talking to sharks" she says.
"So thats how you heal those animals that are almost dead" i say softly.
"It's a gift" she murmers.

"Yours is a gift mine is a curse" i say softly.
"I made my mom's soda burn her" she says.
I giggle.

"A gift?" I ask. 
"Control it and it will be" she murmers.
"I'm not going to grow scales right?" I ask.
"Lets hope not" she says then giggles.

I walk down the docks and dive in to the water.
I swim all the way to the reefs and look around.
I see a beautiful shell.
I swim down and grab it.

I feel something wrong.
Like someone staring at me.
I turn and come face to face with selena.
She sneers.
She starts to swim closer and i swim backwards.

She smirks.
Finally she points up so we can talk.
I nod and we swim up.
I reach it first when she pops her head up she looks annoyed.
"Stop swimming in mine and tryston's make out spot" she hisses.
"Stop swimming in mine and kacee's swimming spot" i say coldly.

Actually the water was getting colder.
"You can't expect us to share" she says giving me a sneer.
"Then don't.  go away" i say.
I dive back under water and i sink to the bottom.

I feel her swimming down after me and i imagine the water rippling pushing me away from her.
I feel the water pressure push me back and my body gets pushed.
Like a under current.
That is until i feel something eerie.

My back hits it first.
When i look back at selena she's paddling away.
My hand touches the smooth surface and i hold back a gasp.
I turn around and come face to face with him.
A twenty foot great white shark....
Six feet tall and twenty feet long.

It sniffs the water and nudges my stomach.
Calm down kaela.

Me and kacee found him nearly dead.
Her idea was to heal him.
Of course i didn't know she talked to him making him trust us.
We made whistles for only him to answer to when he was close.
He was the ghost of the waters.
Of course we're stupid and didn't know we would actually be saving lifes if we let him die.

He protected me and kacee.
Kacee said once and i thought she was kidding but he said 'we were his friends'

He killed a guy who tried to rape kacee in the water.
It was a castrophe.
She walked out of the water covered in the guys blood.
She wasn't traumatized by the shark no she was traumatized by him trying to rape her.

He nudges my side again and sniffs the water.
I pat his head hesitantly.
He shakes his head and i hear a sickening voice in my head.

             Has she hurt you?

I shake my head violently.

     Want a ride around?

That was a odd request but i nod and he moved his body and let me on.
I felt the sickening feeling that i felt when we first found him.

Kacee says he was at least fifty years old.
I felt his muscles against my bare legs as he starts to swim in to open ocean.
I look back and see no one in sight.

Me and kacee called him hai.
Hai meant shark in german.
The deep blue ocean filled my surroundings.
I didn't feel in danger of him not one bit until i saw a fishing boat.
We were near the surface of the water so i pushed hai down and he went down farther so the fisher men couldn't see us.

Hai brings me around and i see the beautiful surroundings of the coral reef that i never explored.
I mean it was ten miles away.
Hai surfaced and i breathed fresh air.
"Bring me back" i say softly.

Hai goes back down and turns back to the island.
Did i forget to mention i lived on a island?

I finally see the familiar reef and i slowly slide off his back and swim to the shore.
When i walk to the public dock i hear shouts.
This town loves gossip expecially from the fishermen.

They once said they saw a mermaid but found out it was just peices of sea weed.
"I saw her!" I hear a gruff voice.
"Saw who?" Another voice asked.
"A beautiful woman. She rode the ghost of the waters" i felt the blood drain from my face.
