What lays beneath the water

"You'll die!" He yelled.
"For him yes i will!" I yell through the wind and rain.
"I won't let this end like last time!" He yelled.
"I'm sorry!" I yell.
I shrug him off and dive in to the water.
The freezing cold water hit me first.

I look around and see harry floating.

Food.

I raised my hand and shot freezing water at the large great white shark that was coming after harry.
I grab harry's shirt.
He had left his jacket inside of the ship.

His eyes were closed and he was unconcious.
The shark started to swim back and i made the water turn even more colder for the shark.

It quickly started to swim away.
I swam to the boat while holding harry's shirt.
When we resurfaced i heard the guys yelling to get a rope.
I let harry's head rest on my shoulder.
It scared me for the fact that he looked like he wasn't breathing.

Finally the guys got me a rope and pulled us up.
I held harry's shirt the entire time.
"Give them some room!" Michael commanded.
I laid harry down on the wet deck.
I placed my ear to his chest.

He wasn't breathing...
"Did he.." i hear someone murmer.
Out of instinct i press my hands to harry's chest and gave him CPR.

I leaned down and he still wasn't breathing.
No..
"Give him mouth to mouth!" Braxton said while looking at harry concerned.
I felt a tear trickle down my cheek.
I pulled his mouth open and blew air in to his.

He instantly started to cough and sputter.
The guys cheered.
"Kaela" harry murmered.
"Thats the second time you gave me mouth to mouth" he says softly.
I roll my eyes.
"Don't scare me like that again" i said annoyed.
He nods and sits up.

"Get him inside we're spending the night out in the sea" michael said. michael was the captain of this ship.
I nod and help harry stand.

I walk him inside and to the bunks.
Most of the guys were already asleep.
You know what?
They took all the bunks.

Except one.
I led harry to it.
He pulled his shirt off and laid down on the bunk.

"You can sleep with me if you want" he whispers softly.
I nod slowly and climb up next to him.
I pull my wet suit shirt off and felt harry's arm wrap around my stomach.

I turn to look at him.
"Summer's ending" i whisper.
He nods.
"Never going to forget you kaela" he says softly.
"Probably will." I mutter.

He smiles and i turn back around.
My eyes got heavy and i closed them.

I felt someone shaking me and i opened my eyes.
Harry smiled at me.
"If you want breakfast you better hurry" he says.
I nod and he leaves.
I pull myself out of the horrible bunk bed and walked outside to see the sun shining.

It was already getting hot.
I hear someone walk up beside me.
"Think the boy will get upset when you go out to face the shark?" I hear michael ask.
I sigh and lean up against the railing.
"He will be. Might have to hold him back" i say.

"He cares for you" michael says.
"He's leaving once the summer ends" i mutter.
"Will you guys keep in touch?" Michael asks.
"It's only Summer love so probably not" i murmer.

"For once i see someone steal your heart" he says.
Michael was like a father to me.
He always brought me fish when he caught extra ones.

I gave him shells for pay.
"How deep do you reckon it is down" he asks looking in to the water.
"Really deep ever been free diving?" I ask.

"Hear the farthest anyone has ever gotten on this island was 200 meters" he said.
"That would be me and kacee of course we could go farther" i said.
Of course we could.
We could hold our breathe for very long even when we didn't have powers.

"Jeez girl your going to hurt yourself with all that diving. A shark will eat you one day" he says while shaking his head.

I look back and see braxton walking up.
"Ready for the bait?" He asks michael.
"She's the bait and yes she's ready try to keep harry on deck" michael said.
He looked back at me and touched my shoulder.

"We can always use the shark cage" he said.
"Wouldn't hold plus the shark's near already i can feel it" i said.

Michael held out his hand and i took it.
He led me to the other side of the boat.
Dylon braxton and two other guys watched with solemn faces.

"Ready?" He asks.
I nod and let go of his calloused hand.
I walk to the railing.
Deep breathes.
I felt the tug in my stomach of the water.

I pull myself so that i'm standing on the railing.
I turn and dive in.

The first thing i see is that there was no bottom.
The other thing was that a hook was locked on to my harness so that they could pull me up.

I looked around.
A cluster of fishes.
Then i spotted it.
It wasn't hai.
It was the bigger great white shark.

It slowly swam around not noticing me.
Blood started to flow down from the ship.
They had released the blood they kept for extra bait.
The shark turned and started to swim over.

In my mind i heard the jaws theme song playing.
