What lays beneath the water

   Harry broke our kiss and looked at tryston.
Tryston twitched but stayed still.
My phone started to go off.
"Kacee kacee" astrid sqawks.

I look at my phone and see it's already at nine forty.
I jump up.
And throw my phone at astrid.
"Tale it home" i yell.
I jump down from the dock that the cafe was on and pull my coverup dress off.
Astris takes it too.
I run in to the water and dive in.

I use my water controling and pushed me faster so i wouldn't be more then ten more minutes late.

I finally got to my cabin and saw kacee scowling at me.
I ran back on to the beach and ran up to her.

"Sorry i'm late" i pant.
"Your twenty minutes late! I saw astrid fly in bringing your dress and phone so i knew you were coming" she said.
I nod.

She hands me my satchel and dives in.
I shake my head and go in too.
We swim to the reef and she goes to the cluster of fishes.
I go to the sand and look for shells.
I found two sand dollars and three clam shells.

I swim to shore and see kacee still looking at fish.
She knew i went for a walk while looking for shells.
I go ankle deep and start walking.
I pick up a mussel shell and stick it in my satchel.

I saw two pearl shells.
I walk back to my cabin and sit down on my hammock.
I sit down and relax.
I look up and see harry walking up to me.
"I'm sorry about the kissing." He says.
I look up.
"Why are you sorry?" I ask.

"You kind of ran off right after that" he says.
I giggle and he gives me a weird look.
"It was because i was late with kacee." I explain.

"So your not upset with me?" He asks confused.
"No i'm not upset" i say.
"I'm still sorry for kissing you. I might have made our friendship akward" he muttered.
Before i could answer that i saw kacee running up.

Blood was all over her arms.
"KAELA!" She screams.
I jump up and run to her.
"What who's hurt!" I say while running to her.
She held a fluffball in her hands.

It was a yellow duckling.
"I found her her mother was eaten in the ocean!" She sobs.
"You can't save every animal" i say softly while patting her shoulder.
"She was half eaten! She's right down there floating" she points.

I nod and walk over to the site.
I see a half eaten duck.
Only the problem was i saw something confusing.
I walk up.
I pull a shark tooth out of the duck.

"Think hai did this?" Harry asks.
"Nope he doesn't eat ducks. He eats whales or fish" i say.

"Then who did?" Harry asked.
I look in to the ocean.
"Something horrible" i mutter.
"Kaela i need you" kacee called.
I walked back over.
"Take the duckling and let me go wash up" she hands me the yellow duckling.

"It's wing is broken" i mutter.
Kacee nods then touches the wing and i hear a crack.
I ses the wing bone fixed.
She walks away and i go back to the hammock.
Harry sits down next to me while i stroke the bird.

"Kaela can you keep the bird?" Kacee asks.
I nod.
"I got the chickan food already in your cabin" she says.

"I'll let you two get back to talking" she mutters while walking off.
The duck quacks and i lay it on my stomach.
It waddles over to harry.

"So about this kissing business" harry says.
I roll my eyes.
"It was a kiss harry not the end of the world" i say.
"It might be?! I could've ruined our friend ship!" He says.
"It won't last anyways" i murmer.

"Lets not think of the summer ending alright?" He asks.
I nod.
Most of the tourists come in the summer and leave in the winter.
They usaully only come once.

"How long have you lived on this island?" He asks.
"I've lived alone on the island since i was eighteen" i say.
"And your?" He asks.
"Twenty one i'm twenty one. How about you?" I ask.
"Twenty two." He answers.

I nod.
"I hear luke is also here for the summer" harry says.
" i don't know how him and kacee are going to survive without seeing each other" i mutter.

"They're survive" harry says.
"Kaela can i speak to you?" I look behind me and see dylon.

I nod slowly.
I get up and he walks to the dock.
He turns around to face me with a scowl on his face.
"Please tell me your not the phantom" he says.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"I'm pretty sure your the same person with long wavy brown hair." He says.
"It sometimes looks blonde" i mutter.
"Tell me it's not true" he says.
"I don't answer to you dylan not after what you did to me" i hiss.

"It was a year ago get over it!" He yells as i walk away.
"I shouldn't. You did leave me and kacee to drown" i yell.
"It was a prank" he calls.

A awful one.
The feeling of water filling your lungs was horrible.
The only way we survived was hai.

I walk back to the cabin.
Harry stood by the door with the duckling in his hands.
"What are you going to call it?" He asked.
"Junior" i say.
