"What's up with knocking me out all the time?" Mark yelled to no one in particular once he woke up.

"Mark?" Mark heard Amy's voice nearby as his eyes adjusted to the darkness around him. The floor was cold to his bare feet, goose bumps appearing on his arms as he shivered slightly. In front of him was a wall of bullet proof glass, and on the other side of it was Amy.

He instantly pressed his hands against the glass, wishing he could punch through it and escape.

"Are you okay?" Mark squinted, trying to look for any obvious signs of injury.

She shook her head no, making Mark relax slightly.

Until he noticed the shadow standing behind her.

He opened his mouth to warn her, but he was too late. The figure pressed a knife to Amy's neck, earning a sharp gasp from Amy as the cold metal touched her skin.

The old Queen was alive.

"C'mon Mark, you wanna save her?" She taunted with a smirk, delicately tracing the knife across Amy's neck, leaving a thin horizontal line of blood that dripped onto her white t-shirt.

Rage boiled in Mark's veins as he paced back and forth like a caged animal, his brain trying to calculate any way to get to Amy. No option came to mind. The room he was in had nothing inside and the metal floor was to strong to tear off and smash the glass with.

"Let me help you."

Mark froze, the voice all too familiar.

Dark.

"Shut up, you can't control me anymore!" Mark yelled at the air.

"You need me if you want to save Amy." Dark pointed out.

Mark growled softly as he considered his options, which didn't take long since there was only one.

"Okay." Mark whispered, closing his eyes as he let Dark take control.

"Hello Queenie." Dark grinned as his eyes snapped open, the color now pitch black like his hair.

He stepped up to the wall of bulletproof glass and easily punched through it as if he was smashing through a sheet of paper. The rest of the glass shattered around his hand, falling in pieces to the ground as Dark walked towards Amy.

"I could've swore Anti killed you last time. Oh well, I'll just finished what he failed to do." Dark grabbed the Queen by the throat, lifting her up into the air. She dropped the knife and clawed at his fingers to no avail as she struggled to breath, her face turning bright red from lack of air.

"Mark, let her go!" Amy tugged at Dark's arm. He briefly looked at her, his expression confused as he released his grip. His eyes briefly flashed between brown and black before settling on black again, Dark pressing a hand to the side of his head as he leaned against the wall for support.

"Mark?" Amy gently touched his shoulder. His gaze snapped to her, anger still burning like a fire in his gaze before he looked down at the Queen whom was still trying to regain her breath from where she was curled up on the floor.

"She hurt you." Dark gently traced a hand across her wound, making Amy flinch.

"I need to go, there's something I need to do." Dark found the locked metal door that led out of the room and easily tore it off of its hinges, throwing it aside as he walked down the hallway.

"Mark!" Amy called after him, hesitating as she glanced down at the Queen before running after him. He strode with a purpose to an adjacent room, typing in a code that opened the door. Inside was Jack lying on the ground curled up in a ball in the corner.

"You finally remember?" Dark hissed, gently caressing Jack's cheek with the back of his hand. Jack flinched away from his touch as if burned, his gaze betraying his fear.

"Yes." He spoke barely above a whisper.

"What are you talking about?" Amy looked between the two.

"Let me show you." Dark pressed two fingers to her forehead. Instantly a flood of images filled her brain. She could see Nate singing Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Jack walking away after Signe yelled at him, and when she was trapped in a place similar to where she was now. Mark's dream was real.

"How?" Amy gasped once the images faded away.

"The Queen took away your memories of the base so she wouldn't be discovered. She thought she erased my memories too, but she didn't entirely." Dark explained patiently, his black eyes flicking back to look at Jack.

"Jack, I don't have much time left. All I ask is that I see Anti one last time. Please." Dark knelt in front of Jack, his gaze desperate.

"Why?" Jack scooted further away from him.

"I...I just want to talk to him." Dark swallowed hard.

Jack hesitated a moment, looking over at Amy before closing his eyes, allowing Anti to take over.

"That's better." Jack's eyes snapped open, one eye blue and the other toxic green.

He allowed Dark to help him stand, smiling sadly as Dark hugged him tightly, resting his head on Anti's shoulder.

"I've missed you." Dark whispered in his ear.

"Me too." Anti admitted.

"I wish you and me could escape from this nightmare of a lab and travel the world, pretend that we don't have a care in the world." Dark sighed, taking Anti's hand in his.

"I love you." Anti blurted, tears gathering in his eyes as his eyes began to revert back to Jack's normal eye color.

"I love you too." Dark briefly kissed Anti on the lips before pulling away, his eyes now chocolate brown.

"Why an I crying?" Jack shook his head as he touched his cheek, his fingers wet with tears.

"I don't know." Amy lied with a shrug, unsure if she should admit the truth of what happened.

"We need to find everyone else." Mark reminded the others, taking off at a light jog out of the room to find everyone else.

Jack and Amy exchanged glances with each other before they followed behind him, hoping the Queen didn't get to them first.
