GET READY FOR A MAJOR TIME SKIP!!!!
VWOOP!~~~~~
Time skip- three years later---CHAPTER NOINE
(Sorry this chapter took forever, I was on break so I took that time to play videogames instead of write. …. Sowwy… ;-; THIS IS GONNA BE LONG CUZ OF THAT!)So yeah,....Time skip to three years later
You shot awake, gasping as tears streamed down your face. You had this dream every night since it had actually happened, only it was growing more and more realistic. ‘She looked just like….like how she had…’ You thought, shaking your head. “Uhg… (Y/n)?” A tired voice asked, and you looked over seeing your friend, (bff/n). Your eyes widened as you remembered you were at their house for a sleepover. You looked down at your wrist to see your best handwriting there, reading,
“Rest in Peace
Callie ___
July 11, (the year three years ago)”
(An: that isn't my real bday. My real one is Dec. 28… But no one wants to find slendy in the winter time. Too much snow. Plus I always celebrate my bday in the summer so there ya go. I've been rambling…. READ ON!)You stared at it, noticing it was slightly faded, so you reached into your night bag, and grabbed your best pen, rewriting over it. Your phone went off just as you finished, and you looked over at it, picking it up. (Bff/n) had long since then fallen back to sleep. You picked up your phone to see the calendar notification that came once every year at exactly midnight. ‘Go to the woods., 12am-11:59 pm, July 11, ( current year)’
You looked over at (bff/n) this year they wanted to go with you, bit you didn't want anyone else dying because of you. You got out of bed, slipping on your clothes and tennis shoes. You quickly and quietly wrote a note to your friend explaining that you went to the woods, grabbed your flashlight, and left through their bedroom window.
*time skip because Idk how many stories your friends house has.*
Once you got to the outskirts of the woods, about a 30 minute walk away, you stopped, and looked at the looming trees above you. You were used to the sight, because you came to these woods quite often. You liked to go to the clearing where she died, where Callie died. This wasn't because you had any sort of twisted humor or anything,
(An: no. You don't. Not in this story!!...... yet.)
It was because you felt safe there, as stupid as that may sound. You liked to talk to the tree she died on, as if she, Callie, could hear you. You looked deep into the woods as a familiar white, empty face could be seen. Your face hardened, and you turned on your flashlight. He wasn't going to kill you. You had six pages now, you only needed the last two, and then hopefully this madness would end and no one else would get hurt. You set off to Callie’s Tree, looking straight ahead and ignoring the being that was following you. You saw him, no IT, quite a bit now, and you were used to IT following you, trying to get you to fall for it’s tricks. In the end, it would always appear in front of you, and you would look at it with the same emotionless eyes that you liked at it with the first time it revealed itself to you. You bumped into something, dropping your flashlight, and looked up, expecting it to be IT, but were surprised when your eyes met the same being watching you through the hospital window. They were 5’5ish, and wearing the same attire they were first seen in- black no-zip hoodie, blue boot cut jeans, and black converse. This time however, their hood was down, but you could barely make out any facial expressions. They took a few steps back, and looked between you and the flashlight repeatedly. ‘Oh no you don’t, ‘ you growled internally at them. They were no way in hell going to steal that flashlight from you. Just then, the flashlight flickered. Both of your guys’ attention snapped to it as a familiar crunching of leaves were heard all around you. The mysterious figure panicked and pulled its hood up before grabbing your arm, grabbing your flashlight, and taking off, turning off the flashlight on the way. As you were starting to be dragged away by this strange character, you noticed you were both at Callie’s Tree ‘Why were THEY there?’ You thought, slightly bitter at the fact someone else knew of that spot other than the police. You stumbled slightly over a tree root and the stranger looked back at you for a split second, before shoving your flashlight into their pocket. You faintly heard two things clink together, and your face paled. The last time you saw this person, they had a knife on them. They whirled around and picked you up easily, throwing you over their shoulder before bolting off. Whoever this person was, they were extremely strong, and extremely fast. You struggled slightly, trying to get out of their grip, before realizing that if you did fall, it would be extremely painful, and they could catch you again easily. You let out a shaky sigh, giving up on escaping as you watched trees blur past. They stopped suddenly in front of one, looked around, put you down, gave you your flashlight, and pointed at the tree. Nervously, you turned on the flashlight, causing the person in front of you to flinch and tug their hood further down their face, before pointing at the tree again. You looked at the tree now, focusing your beam on it to see...a..a page? You looked back at the stranger who was looking around nervously, before pointing at the page again, this time much more frantically. You reached out and pulled the page off of the tree. Your flashlight flickered again, as a static noise was heard. Your new friend stiffened and ripped the flashlight out of your hand, turning it off. They grabbed you and pulled you to a larger nearby tree, pointing at a large indent in it before giving you your flashlight back. You started to turn it on again, but were interrupted by a shaking hand and furious headshakes from this friendlyish character. They quickly shoved you into the incave, and took a few steps back, looking around wildly, before being tackled to the ground. “What the HELL are you doing?” A familiar male voice asked. You could see that someone with a white mask was on top of your now squirming hooded friend. They just shook their head and struggled in the masked figures grasp even more. Just then another figure stepped up. You didn't notice they were there before, and were extremely quiet. Your helpful page finder stopped fighting immediately, and the third figure tapped the masked one on the shoulder. “What?” he asked irritably. There was a sigh before an extremely calm voice rang out. It wasn't loud, but it was clear. “Get off of her, Masky.” Just then the third figure looked right at you. You froze, not knowing what was going to happen as you saw a red, glowing sad face lock eyes with you, before turning away. You looked at ‘Masky’, who was still on top of your friend which was just discovered to be a ‘she’. Masky didn't move, he just stared at Mr. Sad Face, before looking in your direction. You could tell he was searching for something before he locked eyes with you. “Masky, off.” Sad-face-dude said again, this time more irritably. Masky didn't remove his gaze from yours for what seemed like forever as your friend started struggling under him again. Finally he looked away up at the sadfaced man, before, “Sure thing, ‘Hoodie’.” Masky spat, shoving himself off of the female hooded figure, who quickly scrambled off of the ground, eyeing Masky and Hoodie nervously. Hoodie stayed back, watching the hooded and masked figures like an adult supervisor. Masky glanced in your direction causing you to hold your breath as he took a step towards you. Your friend rushed towards you and stopped in front of you protectively. Just then, a deep, commanding voice spoke. “What on earth are you three doing?” It sounded pissed. Masky chuckled slightly as he looked down at both you and your friend. “You're fucked.” He mouthed, as shivers ran down your spine. The figure in front of you started trembling as an extremely tall, and extremely angry, faerie walked out in front of all four of you. If only you knew...
