Truth hurts

I stood up Lilith opened her bright blue eyes and sat up.

"Ah what happened?" She asked.

Kenny and I looked at each other and I said.

"Nothing you're alright" I said.

I helped her off the kitchen table Terri and Hannah came out from down the hallway and all hugged each other.

"Apparently something did" She said smiling.

"Heh yup." I said.

Terri, Lilith and Hannah fixed the table as Kenny pulled me aside into an extra bedroom.

"Tell me everything and the truth" He said.

"Truth hurts im not saying anything" I said smiling.

"Listen Terri and I both know that Lilith is special her powers the, the trusted one. I got contacted by an Olympian when she was first born. He is the general his name is Asher or Ash something like that. He has been watching over us. He warned us about five months ago a great evil by the name of Titan coming here to earth to take Lilith away and us her as a weapon."

"That's why Titan wants her" I said and thought.

"Yes Ash or whatever also said a young hero would come then you showed up we never thought it would be you. That's one of the reasons we have set up training and used you in it. Lilith knows that she is special and has special powers but doesn't know about anything she doesn't know the whole story. She only knows she is special." Kenny said.

"Wow, keep talking I will tell you my side we have to tell Lilith soon Titan is already here and planning a great attack and we maybe only have days." I said.

"Well that's all I really know and yes we have to tell her not now." He said.

"Well do you know about the Kings and Neptune and all that?" I asked

"Yes" He said.

"Well good I was sent here to be her protector I have to stay here and do everything I can even if it means taking my own life. I was just a simple little young soldier on Neptune until I got sent on this mission everything changed. I was told that my dad was originally Hercules the kings where keeping that a secret forever. When I came here I found out I'm special I'm different I'm meant to be a high general a king myself I'm Neptune's son himself. My hero name is Artemis. I have great powers I can control water I have longer claws than the normal Galatian and a bigger tail and I'm getting stronger by the day. That car crash? I caused it on accident and saved everyone." I said.

"Wait . . . you and Lilith." He said.

"Are meant to be." I said.

We both looked at each other.

"Hey you have to ask to marry her first." He said sarcastically.

We both laughed.

"If you have guns now is the time to load them. I'm going to go out in the shed to do . . . some stuff. Does Lilith have any weapons?" I asked.

"Yes she has two modern military pistols. Now go do whatever." He said.

"She needs more than that" I said quietly and thinking.

I was in the shed for hours and hours working on a secret project something to give me the upper hand in combat for Chicago. When I came in Kenny pulled me aside before I could say hello to Lilith.

"We need to talk some more." He said.

"Ok like what?" I asked.

"Do you have any weapons for this battle?" He asked.
