"Why are you so mad at me?" Dylan pestered me, for about the 10th time today.

"I'm not. But you're being obnoxious." My heart was pounding. I was never mad at Dylan, I was more nervous.

"Tell me what's wrong! You've been avoiding me for two days!" Dylan grumbled.

"Dylan, stop talking, you're making it worse." I said, holding my head with my hands. My elbows leaned on the kitchen counter, Dylan's body perched on a island chair.

"Tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it Arizona. Stop pushing me away when all I want to do is fix my mistake." Dylan argued.

My lip quivered, but holding in a very explosive word.

"It can't be fixed Dylan, when it's about me, not you." I muttered.

"Arizona, tell me what the hell is going on!" He yelled.

"I like you Dylan! And not in the best friend type of way." I yelled back.

His face went blank, no expression, no words.

"I found a place, I contacted the people and I'm going to look at it today. I'll be out soon, because I'm already feeling awkward now." I sighed.

"Arizona-" Dylan says, grabbing my wrist as I walked by.

I yanked it from his grasp. "I know, you don't feel the same. Don't have to tell me."

"That's not what I was going to say. Just let me speak for god sakes!" He argued, again.

"Dylan there's nothing else to say! I've liked you for a while, you don't feel the same, I'll leave soon, I promise." I say.

"You don't understand, I don't want you to leave." He said, dimples appearing as he pursed his lips. "Please stay?"

"Dylan-"

"No! Arizona stop cutting me off and talking over me! I'm tired of you voicing over me, now sit down and shut up. It's my turn to talk." He demanded. I crossed my arms, but obeying.

"Now what?" I croaked.

"We wait." He smiled.

"You yell at me to shut up but all you say is two words?" I raise my voice.

"Don't yell." He says, imitating my tone of voice.

"I can't help it Dylan! I told you what's going on, what else do you want? What am I waiting for?" I cried out.

"You never told me why you ignored me for a day." He crossed his arms.

"I was nervous that they would tell you how I feel. So I felt like ignoring you would make me feel better, but it didn't." I sighed. He didn't make a sound, nor a movement.

"Say something!" I yelled.

His eyebrows raised. "I would if you'd stop yelling at me!"

"Explain why you said we wait." I say, getting annoyed.

He smiled. "I can't tell you yet, but don't be mad. You'll see, I promise."

He ran by me, placing a kiss to my cheek and running to his room.

"Ugh!"
