I haven't been in a Canadian airport before. Everything's so, nice? I accidentally hit someone with my bag and they said sorry? And we're asking if I was alright.

This is a magical land, I can feel it. I saw a group of familiar people, and a sign that said 'ari hale!' In pink glitter.

"Ari!" Maple yelled. "You're looking marvellous!"

"Maple, still charming as ever." I smiled.

"Sebastian and Rafael are at home, but they're extremely excited to see you." Piper added. "And don't forget how excited I am! You've grown so much!"

Piper is my aunt. Here's a recap of how this all works; maple is my aunts daughter, my moms sister, my mom was a Canadian, dad was a Hispanic, I got his genes. Maple and piper moved to Canada when piper was pregnant for maple. Yes, if confused me too.

"I suppose we should get some Tim Hortons, aye? I'm dying for you to try our coffee!" Maple said, grabbing my bag and piper grabbed my hand to drag me out of the airport.

After getting to the car, and arguing that maple should get the front seat, I ended up sitting in the front anyway.

"So, uh, what's Tim Hortons?" I asked.

"A Canadian thing." Piper giggled. "You Americans to our land resemble aliens to earth."

"I'm feeling like one. Canadians are so nice and Americans can get extremely rude." I laughed. "Not one person has a frown here."

"Wait till you get around the GTA." Piper scoffed.

"I love that game!" I gasped.

They both laughed. "It's actually the greater Toronto area, Hun. We live around the outer area, around 20 minutes to the city."

"I hate getting groceries here because of the traffic!" Maple groaned.

"Move to Cali! It never snows, there's traffic but not as bad as this and it's very warm! Like summer all year round! Well, there's floods sometimes, but I assume Canada has them too?" I questioned, as well pulled into a 'tim hortons'.

"No thank you, Canada is our home. But we'll visit as much as we can! Alright, we're going to go in so you can see the menu, because there's lots to choose from." Maple said.

I felt out of place because I was the only one wearing heels. After looking at the menu for a while, I decided to get a coffee.

"Hi, can I get 2 double double with milks, and an iced Capp please?" Piper ordered. The cashier smiled and piper paid.

"This place smells Canadian." I stated.

"Hunny, you're in Canada, that's why." A lady behind me said, giggling to her husband.

"I'm not from here." I say, grabbing my coffee.

"Ah, that explains it." She added. The girls and I walked back to the car.

"Can we play music?" I questioned.

Piper nodded and turned the radio on. You don't own me played, and it reminded me of Dylan. He used to put this on all the time because apparently it was 'our' song.

I miss him, but we messed up.
