Mark's POV

I've tried everything to avoid getting noticed. I've worn all black, dyed my hair, not worn my glasses, but no matter what people still see me and crowd me and some even go as far as to try to remove my clothing. I've just started coming into school with just enough time to get to class as the final bell rings. Unfortunately, there's still times in between classes where I'm pestered and crowded. I can always count on my few true friends, however, to help me out. They've been there since before my soulmate became a well-known artist. Felix and Marzia, who are soulmates, transferred from Sweden and Italy in middle school. Ken and Mary, who are also soulmates. I've known Ken since 4th grade, and he was assigned to show Mary around when she transferred from Australia around the time Felix and Marzia did. Then there's Bob and Wade, who are the only two not together, who I've known for a long time since our parents are good friends. Amy, Kathryn, Tyler, and Ethan are good internet friends of ours who we've only met once in real life. They're the only ones who don't know about McLoughlin.

I have a couple acquaintances who sometimes help, because they're friends of a friend, such as Michelle and her girlfriend, Adam, and Ryan, who prefers to be called Cryaotic or just Cry. He's Felix's best friend, so I trust him a bit more than the rest. Other kids, however, try to get close to me so they can hopefully some day meet the famous Sean McLoughlin. Matt, Ryan, Mat, Nate, Danny, Arin- the list goes on. (No hate I love all these guys sorry) They've tried to be super nice, lend me notes and homework, but they gave up once realizing I don't want to find my soulmate.

My parents are quite different on the issue. Not sexuality, because 99% of the population doesn't care about sexuality. My dad wants me to find him, so badly in fact he almost contacted him, which is illegal. He wants me to find him for the cash. He knows how I feel about fame and my social issues, but he just lectured me about how 'it's important to find your soulmate', even though I knew he had dated many girls other than my mom. She thinks I shouldn't date anyone but my soulmate, so it's more special or something. She also, fortunately, cares about me enough to wait until I'm ready to find him.

Jack's POV

I've tried everything to get my soulmate's attention. I've asked my friends to paint on me, being a diverse group of artists. David, Brock, Craig, Tyler, Jonathan, Evan, Arlan, and even our interns, Robert, Lui, and Marcel, have used me as a canvas. We all do body painting and are models due to our different body shapes. Our interns clean our supplies and are art majors in college. They sometimes book us painting gigs if we're looking to sell some work at a fair or go to different high schools. Hopefully, my soulmate will be at one of the events or schools. I also hope if they're one of the people who don't care for soulmates, I can change their mind. My friends have for the most part found their soulmates. Though we're only technically fresh out of college, we've been touring for years. We did online courses and all went to the same high school which had a fantastic art program. Brock is married, Marcel has a girlfriend, Jon and Evan are soulmates, as are Craig and Tyler.

We've just decided to tour around to different high schools to get more teens involved with art. We have a day at each school, each of us have a different style so we have a diverse group. If the students aren't that into just painting on an easel, maybe they'll find interest in body painting or charcoal art. Maybe my soulmate will find interest in me.
