After her college graduation, Mark and Eunmi still stayed together and got married after 2 years of dating. And she is still surprised of how much she loved Mark. He still loved her after nights of her crying herself to sleep, after having a nightmare of Joshua's death, and after they had their first child, thinking what if Joshua were still here? He would still be here and he'd be the father of my children. You would think her endless crying would drive Mark crazy, but if anything, it made him happier. As twisted as it sounded, It meant he can hug her until she falls asleep or even after she falls asleep, he can still comfort her and make her feel better.
She started to forget about Joshua, but it wasn't until she had her third child, the only boy she had. She held her baby in her arms and looked at how small and fragile he was. The doctors watched amazed at how beautiful he was. They gawked and complimented Mark and Eunmi on being the parents of such a beautiful boy.
"So what should we name him, Eunmi?" Mark finally asked. Eunmi had a sudden impulse in her chest and smiled at the small angel in her arms.
"What about Joshua."
Mark smiled and nodded. "Joshua, it is."
Life was so much better for Eunmi. She had her husband she loved so much and her 3 kids, Hani, Wendy and Joshua. Her son, Joshua's mannerisms were like Joshua's as well. The sarcasm, his bright personality and quiet demeanor. She was reminded of Joshua every day by looking at her son and was finally happy.
