Joshua had asked more questions like, if she was going to tell Wendy and Hani, but she said she'd tell them when the time came. Their day ended normally and her daughters arrived from work and school. Mark arrived as well and she made dinner for her family. She felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders and was glad that Joshua came at the right time. It was a miracle that Joshua had arrived or she would've had a heart attack. She hid Henry's letter in the small jewelry box and hid the box away. After their dinner, Hani and Wendy had said their goodbyes to their mom and dad and went home. Mark was upstairs in the bathroom while Eunmi was washing dishes. Joshua had suddenly walked in the kitchen and hugged his mother from the back.
"Oh, Joshua. You scared me," Eunmi jumped, then smiled and tilted her head on Joshua's, which was on her shoulder. "Mom," Joshua said, softly. "Yes, sweetie?" Asked Eunmi, who was finishing rinsing the plate she had. "Get up with dad tomorrow. You and I are going to have a mommy and son date." Eunmi chuckled and turned around and hugged her son. She kissed his cheek. He said his goodbyes and left to go back to his dorm.
Eunmi laid down that night thinking about her past memories with Joshua. His smile and his voice were on her mind and she knew she was going to go to sleep comfortably that night.
