Helping Hand [ Sal X Reader ]

Chap. 4

Sal drove to a small bar that was about a mile away from his house . You both walked into bar and Sal sat you in a stool infront of the counter beside a man with shaggy hair .

" Y/n this is Brian and Brian this is Y/n " Sal said .

" Hai , Y/n , nice to meet you . Sal talks alot about you ." Brian smiled .

" Nice to meet you too , Brian "

" Y/n is probably going to start working here , so you may as well get to know her. " Sal said .

At the beginning of the night , since business was slow , Sal showed you how to make the drinks and how to deal with consumers . Around midnight , the bar began to get really busy . You wernt working , but you felt drained . Brian was still sitting beside you and he was now drunk . Sal was making drinks for people and writing stuff down .

Throughout the night you and Brian talked on and off about what he does with his life and all other basic things . He was just as kindharted as Sal was . He was drunk , but you knew he was harmless .

" Hey y/n , why do you have bruises all over you ? " brian asked.

" Bad relationship " You said bluntly

" What !? Really ? Why would someone want to hurt you ? "

" Good question . "

" Im so sorry . "

" Its fine . It wasn't your fault "

"You know I was in a bad relationship too . "

" What happened ? " You asked concerned

" Well , my ex-girlfriend I proposed to her because I loved her and I still do , but after we planned out a whole wedding two weeks before it she left me , for a cop . "

" Thats terrible . Im sorry dude . "

" Dont apologize , you didnt do anything wrong . " he did a goofy grin .

You noticed the more Brian drank the more goofy he got . You were glad that he was a goof and not destructive .

" You knoww. Y/n " Brain slurred .

" What Bri "

" I like you. "

" Yeah ? "

" Yeah. "

It was getting towards close up time and people began clearing out . It was 3:10am and you were exhausted . Brian was still right beside you and Sal was wipping down tables .

Other than Sal and Brian there were two other men in there. One of them had barley any hair , was much skinnier than the other one and was as drunk as Brian was . The other man had baby blue eyes , not alot of hair , but more than the other man , and he didnt seem to be drunk at all .

" Oh yeah y/n " Sal said

" Uh-huh ? " You looked up at him .

" These are my other two friends " he pointed to the two men .

You got out of your stool and the three of you walked to each other . The man with the blue eyes introduced himself frist .

" Hey , Im Joe its a pleasure to meet you " he gave you a welcoming smile .

" The pleasure is mine . " You gave a sleepy smile .

The other man that was much skinnier than the others then walked up to you .

" Im James , but everyone normally calls me Murray . "

After you all got acquainted with each other , it was time to go home .
