"You're pretty forward," I said, breaking the small silence that had fallen over us. Patrick had managed to help me escape from the crowd of people that had lined up to see he and I. Now the only problem was finding out where he was taking me.
"And you're quite the good kisser," Patrick mentioned with a proud smile. It was almost like he was expecting something more of me.
Like kissing him out in front of hundreds of people wasn't enough.
"Can't say I feel the same about you, pal," I smiled. Patrick rolled his eyes and took my hand, leading me down an empty corridor in the large building he had dragged me into.
It was the same building he had gone into after the whole 'I spilled my coffee on you' incident the day before. Apparently, it was the home of the record label that had signed him on as a recording artist. His manager/music producer worked there full time.
This place looked like a record company in some movie I was sure I had seen before; All sleek and metallic-y.
"You liked the kiss," Patrick insisted. A smirk was playing on his lips, the very lips that were now stained a gentle pink to match my lipstick. Pink was definitely his color.
I shrugged with his comment, "it was better than most of the guys I've kissed lately, I'll admit that."
"Good," Patrick cheered as we strolled into the elevator. "So I'm basically the best kiss you've ever had."
"Now that's pushing it." I said, leaning back against the back wall of the elevator. Patrick shook his head and pressed one of the bottom buttons ominously. Was he taking me to the basement or something?
"Don't give me that face," Patrick smiled. "You act like I'm taking you to our special murder floor or something."
I crossed my arms over my chest, "it sure seems like it. You won't even tell me where we're going."
"Well," Patrick said as the elevator began to rise upward unexpectedly. "If I told you what we were doing, I'm not entirely sure you would have come this far."
"What makes you say that?"
"You don't trust me," Patrick smiled. "Not that I blame you. I'm so dangerous, and all. You're probably intimidated by me."
"Not the word I would use," I teased. "You're more of a dick that dangerous. How much did that shirt cost to dry clean from yesterday, by the way?"
"Wouldn't know, I threw it out," Patrick finished as the doors slid open.
The illustrious YouTuber waved me forward before stalking off to the left. The long hallway we were in now looked weirdly like the sucky coffee shop from down the street. There were windows lining the far wall that looked out onto Times Square.
