Poem 15~

I remember all the nights I lost sleep talking to you,

I never regretted them.

I remember the times you told me you loved me,

no matter how many times you did it never got old,

and whenever we would fight those three words would stop it all.

I remember all those nights.

But most importantly I remember the day you decided I was no longer enough.

You had taken my heart, my soul, and crushed it to bits

gave me no explanation, nothing to use as closure.

One day we were madly in love,

the next I was scum on the ground that you stepped over.

I remember every god damn memory you gave me,

every tear I shed for months after the break up,

every cursed word I sent your way.

I remember you, and your words, and your love

I just wish it wasn't all a memory.
