My First and Greatest Love

Bright and lovely
One may think that I am referring to the stars above but they are all wrong. Unknown to them and all of the billion of people in the world, I am referring to a girl. The same girl whom I have know for 10 years now. The same girl who made my heart first skip its beat. The girl whom I promised to marry a long time ago.
I clearly remembered that day more than a decade ago. I was a typical teenager back then. Walking from my house, observing my surrounding while enjoying the soft breeze against my face. Here and there I can see nature at its best that I just grabbed the camera from my bag and tried to immortalize the scenery into printed photos. I was too engrossed in my hobby that I failed to notice and impending accident. Out of the blue something collided in my body that I lose my sense of balance and fell on the grassy ground with that certain something on top of me.
After a groan left my mouth, I heard a soft grunt and i swore that I saw an angel leaning against my body. Her long and silky black hair, covered almost half of her face yet it fail to conceal the overwhelming beauty that she possess. Her clear orbs are the calmest and most mesmerizing pair I've seen in my entire life.
"Excuse me but are you okay?"
Just like how I imagine how an angel would sound, her soft voice suddenly filled my ears as if giving this certain kind of warm feeling against them. It's like the most beautiful song ever played in a divine instrument yet no music and no song have been played. The sound of her voice is enough to send shivers down to my spine. Despite my petrified state I gave her a soft nod.
The angel suddenly stood up and offered a hand to me which I gladly accepted. Hear hands are soft and has this certain kind of warmth in them. The warmth that can ease and melt the coldest person. That warmth that can break out every walls in someone's heart no matter how strong and high are the walls protecting.
From that day forward, my world starts to revolve around her.
We went into the same high school together making us closer than before. The lens of my camera is solely intended for her.

Her cute pout
Her wink
And most especially that special way she looks at me.
Time passed yet I did not dare to confess. We finished high school and grew apart since we both took our degree on our own choice of University.
Up until now, she has no idea how special she is to me.

I shake the thoughts away as I heard the familiar rhythm. The music is somewhat merry and joyful that everyone stood up and has this huge smile on their faces. But the biggest smile that night is hers. That smile.... That million dollar smile that made me fall for her.
As she walked on that red carpet filled with roses, I can't help but smile. Gripping my camera a little tight, a clicked it almost a dozen times. Changing the angle a few more times capturing that precious moment in her life.
How beautiful she is. Like an angel descended from heaven.
They say that a woman is the prettiest on her wedding day and I can say that it is true......... For her.
I saw how she smiled so wide as soon as she arrived in the altar. Her fiancee and soon to be husband by her side smiling even wider. Both of their eyes are now twinkling while their faces beaming with happiness
