Chapter 11

Ashton's P.O.V

My dad and I have been looking around and trying to find something to break the wood of the doors of the shelter but we found nothing.

I sat down and sighed in frustration. This is all my fault, I know I was trying to help my dad since no one would believe him but now Luke is in trouble and there is no way for me to tell him to run.

"Ashton." I heard my dad say walking towards me.

I didn't look up at him, I was to busy thinking of Luke.

"Ash, you can't give up now. We still have to keep looking. We just need to think positive." My dad told me, sitting next to me.

I looked at him and nodded, he's right. I can't stop now, Luke needs me.

We continued to look until we heard a noise. It sounded like someone turned on a machine outside.

My dad looked through the peep hole trying to see what it was.

"Get back!" He yelled. I ran to the back of the room with my dad behind me. Suddenly a sharp object was hitting the woods, breaking this and the machine fell in.

"Dad isn't that one of your inventions?" I asked him.

"Yes it is. But who started it, everyone went to go to the Beast." My dad said confused.

"Oh my God." I heard someone say, sounded like a kids voice, it was very familiar.

I walked over the the machine to see if I see anyone.

"Ashton, I think it's best if you stay back, the machine could still start up." My dad told me.

"Hold on, I heard someone." I told him.

I looked around the machine carefully. Then I saw something hanging. It was a small teacup.

"Adam?" I said.

He looked up me, looking nauseous. I quickly grabbed him and moved away from the machine.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I didn't want you to leave, I came with you to tell you we need you back there." He pouted. I gave him a small smile.

"Adam, I wasn't going to leave forever, I just came to stay with my dad for awhile because he needed me also." I told him.

He looked sad and guilty but I told him not to worry.

"I have to get back to the castle and worn Luke." I told them.

"We'll come with you." My dad said. I was going to tell him no but then I remembered that Adam lives there so he would have to go.

"Alright, lets go then." I nodded.

We got out of the shelter quickly and found a car. My dad started it and I got in and put my seat belt on. I held Adam close to me so he wouldn't get hurt.

We drove towards the castle, I just hope I still have time to warn Luke.

Luke's P.O.V

"Luke, there's an angry mob outside trying to break in." Michael said.

"Let them in." I told him.

"Um Luke, they want to kill you." Calum freaked out.

"Let then kill me, it's better this way." I shrugged not moving.

"Luke..." Michael started but I cut him off.

"Just please go." I begged.

"You guys can leave and find somewhere to live." I told them.

"We aren't leaving you Luke. We're all in this together." Calum said before walking with Michael.

I sighed, I heard loud banging from the front doors. It's better for me to die, I don't have to live like this forever. I don't have to make anyone miserable.

I just won't be able to see Ashton again and tell him that I love him.

Suddenly there was screaming downstairs. I heard loud bang. There was someone running up the stairs, they opened the room door I was in. I turned around and saw some man standing there glaring.

I turned back around stared out the window.

"Well well well Beast." He spat out.

I just ignored him, and he shot an arrow at my shoulder. I groaned in pain but didn't do anything.

"Oh come on Beast! Are you just gonna sit there or you going to fight." He argued.

I continued to ignore him.

"Fine, make it easy for me." He mumbled and shot another arrow at me. I winced and before I could move, he ran to me and pushed me out the window.

I landed on the roof top of the first floor. The other guy landed close to me. I slowly got up but the guy that pushed me out, jumped on me and tried to stabbed me.

But I pushed him off. We continued to fight for a while.

"Luke!" I heard Ashton say.

I turned around and looked at the ground and saw him staring at me with wide eyes.

He came back? I groaned out in pain when I felt something sharp hit my side. I looked down and saw blood coming out.

I reacted quickly and ended up pushing the guy at the end of the roof top. He was hanging over the castle where there was a cliff at the bottom. It was a very long deep cliff and had a small river with large rocks at the bottom.

I was having trouble breathing from the blood that's coming out from where I got stabbed.

"Luke!" I heard Ashton say and saw him running into the castle.

The other man was struggling to get up and kept slipping, since it was raining the roof was very slippery but it was too late, his hands slipped and he fell to the bottom of the cliff.

I kneeled down and was grunting from the pain.

"Oh my god Luke." Ashton said running up to me.

He helped me lay down on my side. He got a towel to stop the bleeding, but it was no use, I lost a lot of blood and I there's still more coming.

"Ash, you came back?" I whispered, staring at him.

He looked at me, tears in his eyes. "Of course I came back. I told you I would come back to visit." He told me.

"Hey don't cry, I'll be alright." I told him, wiping his tears away.

"No don't talk like that, we can help you." He said panicking.

"Ash, look at me." I told him, putting my hands on his face and turned his head to look at me.

He put his hands on my hands and stared at me.

"I'm going to be alright Ash. I just wanted to tell you that I'm so glad I got to meet someone like you, and that you've helped me become a better person. I also wanted to tell you how much I love you." I said whispering the last part. My eyes were fluttering close and soon my breath came to a stop.

Ashton's P.O.V

"Luke? Luke come on wake up. Please don't go." I cried.

I laid my head on his chest and cried, I was sobbing at this point.

"I love you too Luke." I managed to whisper out.

I had my arms wrapped around him, my head still on his chest still crying my heart out.
