It was Monday morning, 7:45am to be exact. I was awake and already dressed and ready for my first day of Hollyoaks Sixth Form College. It was Jason's first day as well, but Robbie had started at the end of the Christmas holidays when he moved up here. I was stood in the kitchen waiting for my brothers to get ready, this included Joe, Freddie and Ziggy because they opened the garage at 9 O'clock in the morning on a Monday. I was helping Mum butter loads of toast and put it on one big plate, while Lindsey was making everyone a cup of tea to wash their breakfast down with.
"Are you scared for today then?" Lindsey asked me, I didn't look at her while we were talking because I was busy.
"No, I'll have Robbie there and Jase so I shouldn't be too lonely," I smiled.
"You can't rely on your brothers, Emily. They won't be in any of your classes, maybe resit English, but I don't want you hanging around Robbie," Mum lectured, when I finished buttering my half of the toast I decided to help Lindsey take the cups of tea into the dining room.
"Why, he's my brother?" I gasped, knowing Mum had always raised me differently to how he raised my brothers. She wanted me to be something great but I wasn't brainy and I certainly didn't want a career in anything Mum wanted me to do.
"He's not wired right, that boy," Mum growled, sensing he wasn't going to keep the promise he made when we moved up here.
"Me and Robbie had a chat yesterday, you won't be hearing anything from him he's on the straight and narrow now Mum, just like he promised," I lied, but hoped it was true. At least that would keep Mum off his back for a while.

We sat at the table in a weird silence, it wasn't awkward just everyone was unusually quiet. I was sitting on my phone, as was Robbie and Jason. Lindsey and Joe were off looking in each other's eyes. Mum was reading this mornings news paper. For Freddie and Ziggy, they were just sitting there.
"Are you three sure you will all be alright getting to school by yourselves? I don't mind walking with you," Mum offered, as she began to eat her second slice of toast.
"Mum, they're 18 and 16. I think they can get across the road by themselves," Ziggy chuckled, which made me smile.
"I just worry, alright? My babies are all grown up," Mum cooed, brushing her arm, soft hand off my left cheek. I smugly smiled to everyone else because she always called me her baby and nobody else. "And I don't want to hear any bad reports from Mr Blake when I next see him," Mum groaned on, which I could feel was the start of a lecture. I necked the rest of my cup of tea and quickly stood up before Mum could say anything else.
"I'm off, I'll see you tonight," I laughed, moving from my chair, around Lindsey to kiss Mum on the cheek.
"We're having Fraser's daughter over for dinner tonight, so I expect no non-sense from any of you," Mum shouted at us as Jason and Robbie followed me into the hall way.
"What a treat," Robbie sarcastically replied, under his breath.

Jason was last to leave the house, I heard the door slam shut behind him.
"What do you mean about Fraser's daughter?" Jason shouted to Robbie as we walked down the front garden path.
"She doesn't like Fraser, can't say I blame her.  But, she likes to play dirty and I know that club of theirs isn't just for selling alcohol, if you know what I mean," Robbie hinted, as we walked down the street. The view of Fraser and his daughters club was clearly in view through the gaps in our neighbours houses. I knew exactly what Robbie meant. He was talking about drugs.

After a 5 minute walk, myself and my brothers walked reluctantly through the gates of the school. It seem quiet a large school, but with a smaller sixth form. I could tell this by the amount of people running around in red school blazers compered to the people wearing their own clothes. Robbie suddenly seem to fly off with two boys, one shorter one wearing the red school blazers and one taller one who was wearing a blue hoodie and a black leather jacket.
"You recon he's going to keep his word this time?" Jason asked me, as we walked together to the main entrance to the school.
"I don't know, it's hard to tell with Robbie," I muttered back, taking my phone out of my bag.
"I'd hate to see what our brothers and Mum would do if he was to pull any of his old stunts," Jason smirked, even though it wasn't really funny because two months in Robbie had already broken his promise.
"She would send him away and I know she would," I whispered to Jason, making sure nobody else could hear him. Jason and I both turned around to look for Robbie around the school yard before going in to find Mr Blake. He was stood, in the distance, still with those two boys and they were using arm actions and pointing around to describe something.

Suddenly, out of no where a deep, intimidating voice crept up behind us.
"Ah, new arrivals. You must be Jason and Emily Jane Roscoe," Someone, who I was assuming, was Mr Blake, called down to us. He was very tall with darkish hair and tanned skin.
"That's us," Jason smiled back, looking towards me for support while he said it.
"You better come to the office with me and sort out some paper work before we get you started," He instructed, which I didn't understand if it was meant to be an instruction or a question. Needless to say, we both followed him, scared to get on his wrong side.
