This is for ughkim. Sorry for the wait!!
Usually, Wonwoo was a calm man. He was a soft spoken boy who loved reading and who just so happened to be your boyfriend. And he was a very protective boyfriend at that.
So it was no surprise that as soon as you sneezed the calm Wonwoo was replaced by a concerned one.
"Wonwoo I'm fine." You protested the best you could through your raspy morning voice. He only sighed.
"Y/n, please don't lie." He said, his quiet voice a couple octaves lower than your own. He sat beside you on the bed, brushing your hair out of your face. He leaned down to kiss your forehead, humming in disapproval. "You have a temperature." He said simply.
You groaned. You hated being sick. "What time is it?" You asked.
"11:30." He said. You were taken aback. Never before had you slept in so late. He leaned over and turned on the light to get a better look at your face, causing you to groan in pain.
You were pale, much paler than usual. Your eyes had dark rings under them which were accompanied by puffy bags.
Wonwoo looked down at you in concern. "Are you in pain?" He asked softly.
You hadn't noticed before, but your stomach was starting to hurt. You had a migraine that the light had only worsened, causing you to nod. Wonwoo got up to get a thermometer and you reached over to turn off the light. He came back and turned it off for you before sitting beside you and putting the thermometer in your mouth. You both waited for an anxious couple seconds as it took your temperature. It finally beeped and he took it out of your mouth, his eyebrows knitting together.
"102.5..." he whispered. He looked at you, worry etched all over his face. Slowly he stood, setting the thermometer down on the cedar night stand. He gently picked you up bridal style and carried you to the couch. After you were safely on the couch he went around the house to turn off all of the lights, trying to ease your headache.
"Better?" He asked, sitting beside you and placing your head in his lap. You nodded and gave a little sigh. "Explain to doctor Wonwoo how you feel." He said, joking lightly.
You managed a little smile. "Well, doctor Wonwoo, my head and stomach hurts, I feel really cold, and I have a fever." You said to him. He hummed in though.
"I prescribe cuddles and rest." He said softly, giving you a warm smile. He opened his arms to you, to which you gladly accepted.
"Are you hungry?" He asked you, stroking your hair as you laid against his chest. You nodded, of course. You could never deny food from your loving boyfriend.
He made sure you were wrapped in blankets before standing and walking into the kitchen. Being in your usual cuddly mood – as you always were when sick – you followed him, back hugging him as he made ramen.
"Yah, you should be resting!!!" He cried worriedly. You only shook your head.
"I can't without you." You said quietly, placing your head on his shoulder. He only sighed and continued to make the ramen.
The wonderful scent of the seasoning unclogged your nose a bit. You took in a deep breath, letting the beautiful scents surround you.
After some time the ramen was finished cooking. Wonwoo took two bowls, one for each of you, and carefully carried them to the living room. "Be careful, its hot." He warned.
You nodded, and in a matter of five minutes you had downed the entire bowl of ramen.
"Well jeez, hungry much?" Wonwoo teased. You only rolled your eyes, placing your bowl down to make grabby hands.
"Cuddle." You pouted. He gave an exaggerated sigh before putting his bowl down and pulling you into his embrace.
"I love you, y/n..." he whispered.
"I love you too, Wonwoo..."
Hey guys!!! It's been a while. I know this one is short, and I'm sorry!!! I'll make the next one longer, I promise~ until next time~
