"Sorry, P'. I didn't mean to ignore you. What shall we eat for breakfast?"
Kongpope was finally done texting and placed his phone back in his pocket, and saw that P'Arthit's face had somewhat worsened. He wondered if he did something wrong again. Did he spend too much time on the phone and ignored the senior for too long?
But Arthit still answered his question, albeit a short one.
"Whichever, I don't mind. I cannot really think of anything to eat right now."
My mind is full of other things that are not related to food now.
Arthit was really curious as to who Kongpope was texting earlier that made him smile at himself in front of the phone. It could not be that N'Gun person right?
Kongpope could not figure out why but he thought that P'Arthit was not in a good mood. He kept thinking of the reasons behind P'Arthit's bad mood. He wondered it was because he had teased him too much back in his room.
"P', are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just walk around to see what we can have for breakfast."
Kongpope pondered for a while.
"Shall we take my bike out and go somewhere further? Or do you want to just walk around the neighborhood?"
He thought of the joy he would have getting P'Arthit to be wrapping his hands on his waist to hold on tightly as they biked. He would surely enjoy that feeling.
But walking side by side had its perks too. He got to keep on sending not-so-accidental touches to P'Arthit and he was going to enjoy every moment of it.
Only thinking about those situation have warmed Kongpope's heart. As long as he was with P'Arthit, he would be happy all the time. It was up to Arthit to choose. Kongpope personally did not mind both options.
"Let's just walk then. It's early morning and the weather is still kind of cooling. We have to think of the environment."
That was just so P'Arthit-like answer. He knew that P'Arthit was the type who prefer to walk, or use bicycle instead of a motorbike. Kongpope had once sat on the passenger seat of P'Arthit's bicycle on that random day when his bike suddenly went flat-tire on him, when he was rushing for school. At that point of time, they were not even as close as they are now, and P'Arthit was still so kind to him.
Kongpope remembered the nice, cooling breeze and the scenery around on the way to the university that he was seeing as he was holding onto P'Arthit's waist tightly so he would not fell down. He was, after all, quite tall that he needed to watch his legs from accidentally touching the ground, or worse, scraping the back wheel. He would not know the joy of enjoying the environment if it was not for P'Arthit that day.
"What do you feel like having for breakfast?"
P'Arthit's sudden question brought him back out of his reverie. He kept thinking of what he wanted to eat but he could not think of anything else but his usual menu, soy bean milk and patongkah. But his stomach was quenching on the thoughts of any food at all. Maybe he had not fully recovered as he thought he had. But he did not want to make P'Arthit worried for him again.
Arthit seemed somewhat able to notice that, while color had returned to Kongpope's face, he was still not very much recovered. He then gave a quick thought and made a decision immediately.
"Let's just pack our food and go back to your room. I think it'll be better that way. I have a sudden craving for hot minced pork porridge."
Kongpope did not seem to be surprised by now that P'Arthit was subtly thinking for him, and therefore suggested for them to have porridge, a somewhat easier food to digest. P'Arthit was just being too kind to him.
