AN: set around the end of Kongpope's first year and Arthit's third year.

Arthit...

"Ai'Arthit, you ready?" Knott finally reached the place where I have been waiting at with his motorcycle.

"Aiii... you're so slow! Been waiting for the longest time mannn." I frown hard, my brows furrow as I cross my arms around my chest. "Let's just go. We don't have much time left."

"Sorry 'bout that. Got caught in a jam outside campus." Ai'Knott just grins and scratches the back of his neck, a gesture he always does whenever he's subconsciously lying. He doesn't even pass me a helmet that he keeps inside his compartment.

I narrow my eyes as I stare at him. I've known this guy for the longest time and I have memorized most of his habits by heart.

"Alright, spill it now, Ai'Knott. What happened before you came here to fetch me?"

"Wh- what are you t- talking about?" Ai'Knott tries to quickly resume his poker face, but I have caught his eyes widened for a millisecond.

"You're lying to me, my friend. Don't try to find some lousy excuse, just tell me the truth." I quickly wave my right hand in front of him, a gesture to dismiss all of his bullshit that he's trying on me.

Ai'Knott just stares at me while I stare back at him, and I refuse to be the first one to break on this childish eye-staring competition. He owes me an explanation, a real one.

Ai'Knott finally breaks the contact first and he just sighs as he shifts his eyes to the concrete floor.

"Alright, I'll give you the details later once we've reached your place. Is it okay?"

I stay silent and keep my eyes on him before I decide that whatever happened just now, he would tell me eventually and I would not dismiss it till I know what happened.

So after a few minutes of contemplated silence, I sigh and take the spare helmet from Ai'Knott and hop in to the back of his bike. He still remembers to bring it out.

"You better know that this is not the end of our conversation." I remind him again as I make myself comfortable in the back seat.

"Yes, I understand, P'Arthit." He playfully retorts, slurring on the way he was calling my name. Don't tell me he was trying to act like those freshmen, being the big giant that he is.

I scowl as we both make our way back to the dorm. I swear even with Ai'Knott's skill in riding the bike and cutting through some small spaces in between the cars, the traffic in Bangkok in general is really not a joke. There are just too many bikes all around us with our school people making their way out from the university as well.

Ai'Knott is usually a safe biker, but something that happened before he came to fetch me seemed to weigh a lot in his mind, that has him riding quite agitatedly. I try to squeeze his shoulders' biceps several times when he seems to be out of it and when he did not realize that we can move on after a long traffic light stop.

What I did not expect was that when we were about to make a turn towards the left side, there was a car coming in from the opposite direction and did not see Ai'Knott's bike, and Ai'Knott, on his hurry in swerving out to avoid collision, skirt on his bike and I get thrown out a few meters away from the bike.
