I sit down next to a short, dirty boy, I presume he is homeless. His clothes are old and torn, and his luggage is merely a drawstring bag.
He sees me and coughs a little. I then take in my expensive attire. He must wonder why a man of my stature would be riding such a train.
Oh how he wish he knew. And I hope it wasn't the same for him.
I knew for 5 years and took me all that time to work up the courage to tell my parents. I told them. I said those two words, and they changed. They used to be caring and welcoming, I didn't even think they had a negative stance on it until I told them. "I'm gay."
I've never been betrayed so quickly in my life.
"Nice night isn't it," I say trying to strike up a conversation with the stranger.
"Yep," He says turning back to look out the window.
"So, uh, what happened to you?" I stupidly asked.
"Got kicked out of my house because my parents didn't approve of my 'lifestyle'" He didn't look back at me. "I'm Patrick by the way."
"Pete."
"Well, Pete. What happened to you?" He restated my question and I sighed.
"Same as you." I reply sadly.
"Damn, that sucks man." He replied.
"Yeah."
BOI IT HAS BEEN A WHILE. Since I've last updated I've seen Green Day in concert, Fall Out Boy released two new songs, Donald Trump became president, and I finished school for the year.
