Song: Marked for Death by Brian Tyler

In the jungle, a bird fluttered through the trees. It swayed and glided just under the tree tops. The only sound in the eerie silence was flap of the bird flying under the canopy. The bird stretched out its legs and landed lightly on the thick jungle trees.

The bird cried out as a woman clad in all black jumped onto the branch it occupied. Without fear, she leaped for the next branch as if she was running on solid ground. She ran through the trees with confidence, jumping from one branch to the next. Her light feet barely made a sound as she landed with precision. She stopped once she saw the first glimpse of the five meter was and the guards patrolling the.

Dakota took a deep breath to compose herself. She dashed off again angling to the left. She climbed up to the top of the trees and ghosted through towards the wall. She crouched down on the branch waiting.

As the sentry dressed in only trousers and a head covering passed under her she dropped lightly to the walkway and came up behind the sentry. She engaged her hidden blades and covered his mouth then stabbed him in the back. She lowered him lightly to the ground.

Dakota ran silently along the walkway. Once she reached a guard, she would throw her knives at them, killing them instantly with deadly precision. Before they fell loudly to the ground, she would catch them and lower them gently without a sound. As she looked around the walkway, she could barely make out the black ghosts that were sliding around the walkways and silently taking out the guards.

Dakota saw the others standing at the edge of the walkway, the signal that they had cleared all their targets. She lightly vaulted over the wall and fell the five meters to the ground and rolled. On the hard packed ground and in her padded suit, she still didn't make a sound. Ghosting across the open ground, she met at the door to the main complex. Their were only two floors, but most of the building was underground.

York, Jersey and Utah met her, their backs against the wall. York nodded and Dakota stepped out. She kicked the door in and the rest stood ready with their silenced pistols. The sound of the wooden door clattering on the polished floor filled the empty hall.

"Someone had to have heard that, let's get this over with," Dakota said as they entered the compound. Their footsteps made no sound as they hustled through the complex. They had studied the layout and they knew the building like their own home - or training facility. The Assassins stopped as they rounded a bend.

"Alright Dak," York said, "you stay here and cover me I'll get the Piece."

York entered the bedroom. No-one was there. No-one was anywhere, come to think of it. On a dresser, a strange necklace lay. York pocketed the Piece. He was the only one of the entire Operation New World that knew what the Piece was. But something wasn't right. It was just lying there. With no-one around. York dashed out the door.

'C'mon we've gotta go. We've been set up." The Assassins retraced their footsteps back out of the building. As they emerged, they were greeted by bright spotlights and at least one hundred and fifty guns trained on them.

An American voice rang out in the empty yard of the complex. "Attention assholes! Stand down or we will use lethal force!"

"Who's he calling an as-"

"Shut up, Jersey!"

Then, in the distance, the treetops shook and rattle and leaves blew all around. The blades of the helicopter rose above the treeline and slowly the body emerge. And the body had missiles. The Templars stared as the missiles sped towards them. However, the missiles hit low, sending the walls crashing inward. Many of the Templars lost their weapons as the walls crumbled inward. A few were trapped under the debris but many were only lightly injured and could still fight.

"Well, here we go again."

Before the Templars could recover, the Assassins raced in, killing and wounding anyone they could reach. As one one the Templars tried to stand Dakota dove over him, diving and grabbing the shotgun lying next to him. She flipped the gun and grabbed the barrel. She smashed the Templar's face with the butt while cocking the gun. She flipped the gun back over and blasted half a dozen Templars.

Knowing the mag was out, she chucked the gun and picked up another. As a Templar tried to tackle her, she did a side flip over him, sending him sprawling. She heard York yell shotgun and she turned while clocking a Templar in the jaw. She threw the gun end over end.

York caught the gun by the handle and in one fluid movement shot a Templar. As the Templars surrounded him, he kneed one in the crotch while bending back a little and shooting the man behind him. He kicked to the right while shooting left. He was out of ammo. He flipped the gun using it as a bat he smashed heads and kicked legs, never stopping. Soon a circle of bodies surrounded him.

York heard Utah yelling switch and yelled back "Sync." He ran towards Utah and dive rolled as Utah side flipped over him, switching places. Utah kicked a Templar while landing and stabbed two more with a left-right-left, stabbing one twice. He dive rolled and grabbed an Uzi and shotgun in one continuous motion. He stood from the roll and came face to face with a Templar. He jammed the Uzi into the Templar and pulled the trigger, the gun moved up his body riddling him with bullets. Utah hit the body with the butt of the shotgun, sending him flying back into other Templars. Utah did a corkscrew, spinning at an angle in mid-air, as two Templars charged him from either direction. They slammed into each other.

Utah heard Jersey calling switch. He ran towards him and slid on both knees as Jersey back-flipped over him. In mid-air, jersey grabbed the shotgun and immediately started shooting before his feet even hit the ground. He used the shotgun as an extension of his body. He blocked and punched, all with the shotgun, never breaking his continuous movement. Jersey heard the click of an empty mag and hurled the shotgun at a Templar. He stepped back, his fists up. Jersey bumped into the other three.

All four Assassins stood in a circle, back-to-back-to-back-to-back. The Templars had regained their composure and the surrounded the Assassins. As the dust settled, the Assassins saw the mounted mini-gun trained on them. Nobody noticed the black ghost behind the gunner until she snapped his neck. She stepped into the half-light and wrapped a cord around the triggers after yelling "Duck!"

The Assassins dropped to the ground. So did a few Templars. The new figure kicked the barrels of the gun, and tightened the cord. The gun started firing spraying bullets in all directions. The gun spun around and around mowing down the Templars. At least three/fourths had been killed or wounded before one managed to get a hold of it.

The Assassins stood, facing the remaining two dozen Templars. As the new comer stepped directly into the light, they saw she was an Assassin too. But no-one recognized her.

"Who the hell is she!?" Dakota asked of no-one in particular.

"I don't care!" Jersey yelled as he rushed back into the fight. Within minutes, the rest of the Templars lay on the ground groaning, or ominously silent.

"Let's get out of here."
