The Dream

Hope you enjoy the story! A/N: This whole chapter will be a dream, the people will be introduced in the next one.

Black. That was the only thing, or color that was shone. But, soon green and yellow smoke started to rise. They danced around each other like people do during a slow song at a dance. Soon the colors doubled into a variety of colors; making a picture. It was a man. He was tall and had a powerful aura around him; his brown hair- which reached just above his shoulders- was held out of his face with a piece of twang. His dark brown eyes seemed to be searching for something, or better yet, someone.

While he weaved through tree branches and saw multiple wild life in the forest, the sunlight beat down on him. Revealing two bear-like prints on his toned, tan, chest. The man couldn't be more than 22 years old.

Soon, he found what he was looking for. A girl, around the age of 20, sat beneath a red-wood tree. Her long black hair was tied into a single brade, which was draped around her left shoulder; her tan skin glisten in the sunlight. She sat there, humming a tune while she turned plain wool into a beautiful blanket.

The girl didn't hear, or see the man come into view. But when he stopped right in front of her, she looked up and her bright brown eyes went wide. The man and the woman both felt something, something strong. Only one world was spoken; but it seemed like more. That one word was 'Mate'.
