*beep*

Minghao jumped a little at the sudden noise coming from his pocket. He was sprawled on the couch, TV blaring and takeaway boxes littering the space around him. It was Sunday and since the others were out, Minghao just reheated the takeaway from the night before and sat watching TV, having nothing better to do.

He dug around in his sweatpants pocket and pulled out his mobile, fumbling for the power button. He pushed down on it and the screen turned on. He saw no notifications except for a single message. He furrowed his brows and read the text that had popped up just moments before.

"Hey Hao! Was wondering if you'd like to join me at the café? I'll be there around 3pm, would be great if you showed up."

He smiled a little, eyeing the message once more before realising who sent it. His eyes nearly popped out of his head, widening more by the second. His cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink and his heart skipped a beat.

Wen Junhui.

Not only his bandmate, but his friend too. He was always shy around him though, for good reason. It was simple, but in a way... not so simple at all. He was in love with Junhui. He always had been since the first day he set eyes on him in the practice room. Gorgeous tan skin, dark, intimidating  eyes and a head full of silky black hair. His voice was smooth like butter, whether talking or singing, he always sounded like an angel. God he could feel his heart wanting to burst just thinking of him.

He checked the time, it was 2:27. He cursed under his breath and ran to tidy himself up. His hair was a mess, his makeup smudged where he'd worn it to bed, tired eyes and a dirty sweater. He grimaced and brushed his silver hair until it sat nicely, proofing it up in places to make it fluffy. He washed his face, brushed his teeth and managed to find a clean sweater to throw on. An oversized pink one, paired with some decent jeans and the only shoes he could find that didn't smell awful. He stood in front of the mirror and looked himself up and down a few times before deciding he looked nice enough.

He checked the time again and nearly choked. 2:49. He didn't have time to put makeup on, but Junhui always said he looked better without it anyway. He shoved his phone in his jean pocket and almost forgot his wallet twice. Sprinting down the street at full speed, he got there just in time. The cosy little café was right there in front of him and as he peered through the window, he saw Junhui sat in one of the little beige armchairs in the corner by the bookshelves.

He slowly opened the door, the bell chiming as he stepped inside. Junhui immediately looked up and grinned, he pushed himself to his feet and with a spring in his step, he reached Minghao in no time, wrapping his arms around the younger boys neck, pulling him into a warm, friendly hug. Minghao felt his heart flutter, cheeks heating up as the elder pulled away from him and smiled.

They ordered their drinks and carried them back to the table in the corner that Jun had previously been sitting at. Minghao tripping over his feet, finally settled into one of the beige armchairs, sighing as he picked up his vanilla latte, the cup warming his small hands. As he took a sip, his eyes wandered to the boy in front of him, still smiling occasionally before sipping at his hot chocolate.

"There's a reason I invited you here. Hao,  I need to tell you something."

Minghao looked up from his drink again with wide eyes, making Jun chuckle as he saw that the younger boy had given himself a moustache with the froth of the coffee. Hao blushed furiously, wiping the froth from his top lip and nodding for the elder to continue. The beautiful being that sat before him, let out a loud sigh and leant closer, elbows on the table and eyes fixated on Minghao. His eyes seemed to gaze right through the young boy and make him incredibly shy, looking away quickly and fumbling with his hands.

"Hao," he sighed again, this time his large hand was placed on top of Minghao's small and trembling one "I'll tell you straight up, I love you." The young boy choked and stuttered out a mere "W-what?" Jun just chuckled and squeezed Hao's hand, smiling at him warmly, giving him no reason to be scared. "I love you, Minghao. I always have. I never had the guts to tell you, but I need you to know now. I love you with all my heart. I know this probably seems so strange bu-"

"I love you too.."

Junhui's just grinned, eyes creasing and a small giggle escaped his lips, making Hao melt inside, heart beating fast, legs weak and cheeks flushing a beautiful deep pink. They squeezed each others hands and just stayed there for a moment, staring at one another, eyes locked and hearts fluttering. It seemed to last forever, time freezing for what felt like centuries before Junhui rested a hand on the side of Minghao's face. Thumb gently stroking his warm, rosy cheek. Hao keened into Jun's touch, going fuzzy inside as his dream was finally coming true right before his eyes.

They looked at each other again, gazing lovingly at one another before Junhui pulled Hao closer, chuckling once more before pressing is lips against those of the younger boy who sighed into the gentle kiss, eyes closing and heart calming as time came to a standstill once again. Their soft lips lightly and slowly touching together as their fingers were still entangled. The kiss was broken and they rested their foreheads together. Gazing once again into each others endless eyes with so much passion, it almost seemed impossible for so much love to exist between just two people.

They just smiled at each other, knowing that right there in that small, cosy café, was the start of a beautiful relationship.

Right there in that café, was the start of something special...
