Always

Holly just sat there on the edge of the bed, sheets crumpled from her fingers fumbling with them, swinging her feet and looking to the ground. She felt like shit just of late, and it was getting hard to cope with. A small tear, shining like a diamond, fell from her eye, hitting the cold floor and splashing into a tiny reflective pool at her feet. She tucked her beautiful curly hair behind her ear and sighed.

Sniffling, she wiped her nose and went to stand up, but she was stopped. Junhui held her by the shoulders and pushed her back down onto the bed with a gentle rustle of the sheets. He scanned her red cheeks, tearful eyes and a tiny stream of fluid from her sniffling little nose. He gave a sad smile and knelt down to the floor, holding both her small, delicate hands in his larger ones.

"Little one, what's going on? Why is my gorgeous baby crying, hm?" Holly stuttered a little, Jun's intense gaze going straight through her. She slowly began to explain everything and he nodded, listening intently to every single word to leave her lips. He smiled sadly and wiped her tears, licking his finger afterwards to make her giggle a little. He pressed a soft kiss to her soft hands and looked into her sparkling eyes.

"Honey, I'm always here for you. You're my everything, my day, my night, my entire being. Ok? Without you, I'd be nothing... you complete me. You make me so fucking happy it feels like i'll explode from your cuteness and sweetness. There are so many reasons I love you, but the biggest reason is how strong you are, how brave you are and how you've come so far. I'm so proud of you baby girl, so so proud. From the bottom of my heart, I promise you I will never leave you, ok? You're always in my heart and I think of you every second of the day. You're so damn special to me, more so than anything and anyone else. Now, my beautiful princess, you need to stop these special tears from falling, because I'm right here to help you through. I love you so much. I always will."

With that, he stood her up and hugged her so tight. One hand on the small of her back and the other hand on her head, soothing her and making her feel safe once again. Smiling at how proud he was of her and how lucky he was to have such an amazing princess. He pressed a kiss to her soft hair and she sighed, keening into his touch and whispering a small but audible "I love you so much.."

Jun chuckled and his heart raced as he heard Holly giggle that tiny baby giggle that he loved so much. Eyes creasing and knees going weak, he swayed a little. Holding her closer than ever, taking in her sweet scent, beautiful body and precious features. He felt as though he was holding a mermaid, or a princess...hell, maybe even an angel. He pressed yet another kiss to his beloved sweetheart's head and cupped her delicate, beautiful face in his large hands. Staring into her eyes, he uttered the words that made her feel whole once again.

"I love you too my darling. Always."
