Dear Chiminie,

Hey Jimin. I see you haven't responded to either of my letters, and I wanted you to know that it's okay. I get that you probably don't remember me, and that all those polaroids we both took together have faded for you. Honestly, it's fine. I'm currently sitting on the swing where it all began, and wondering what would happen if you were here with me. We'd probably be really awkward until one of us said something like "I'm thirsty" and the other would say something like "HI THIRSTY I'M (insert name here)" or "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID". Then everything would go back to normal until we both remembered that you are one of the most popular idols in the world, and I'm just a blue eyed baker who happens to make bubble tea now in her shop.

Speaking of bubble tea, I heard you like it. Of course, I already knew that lmao. Since my shop is selling it, and you're coming back home to Busan, you should come and buy some! Aigoo my first celebrity customer! Sorry for overreacting, but if you came it would not only make my day. It would make up for the past 13 years when we were apart. Jimin read the letter and before a single tear could fall, Namjoon ripped it out of his hands. 

"OMO ANOTHER LETTER FROM MINAH? YOU NEED TO RESPOND SOON TO TELL HER IF YOU WANT TO CONTACT HER OR NOT!"  Namjoon shouted at Jimin, who already knew all this.

"I KNOW THAT HYUNG! I JUST DON'T THINK I COULD HANDLE SEEING HER RIGHT NOW! I'LL VISIT HER BEFORE MARCH 4TH! I PROMISE!"

"WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?"

"I DON'T KNOW YOU STARTED IT!"

"Okay. Do you want us to go with you when you leave?" Jimin only shook his head and tried to hold back the tears. 

Days passed, and no more letters came from Minah. She decided on waiting until she got to see Jimin to talk to him, and if he didn't show up, she would just stop trying to communicate with him. At all. 

One morning after spending the night at Micah's house, Minah decided to open the small bakery after washing up. She stole some of Micah's clothes, even though they were a little baggy because Micah was taller than her. Minah washed up and walked downstairs to the bakery's kitchen, preparing to start baking the cupcakes and cookies. She glanced at the calendar in the corner before sighing and continuing on with her baked goods. 

Minah's PoV

I stared at the calendar for a good 2.5 seconds before turning back to the red cupcake batter I was currently over-whisking. I let out a long sigh and put the cupcakes in the oven before cleaning up my mess. We still had most of the baked goods I had made in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep.

 Today was March 4th. If Jimin doesn't show up today, he doesn't want me in his life any more. I'll stop sending letters. I'll stop listening to BTS probably. I will definitely mope for months only to realize that he doesn't deserve my attention. 

I was so deep in my thoughts that only the cupcake timer beeping could have brought me back to reality. And thankfully, it did. I took the cupcakes out to test their doneness, and put them in the blast chiller for 5 minutes until I could frost them. 

The only reason my entire stock wasn't full from my 3 AM stress bake off against myself was because SOMEONE *cough cough* MICAH *cough cough* decided it would be fun to eat an entire batch of cupcakes. But then again I wasn't complaining about having to make more. After all, it was a way to get my mind of you-know-who-and-what. 

Before I knew it, it was time to open. I wiped off the last remaining dust on the tables and turned the sign in the door. Just 8 more hours.
