Chapter 02

Allura POV
"Hi Allura" He said
"Hi Ashton" I said smiling back at him

He began to giggle insanely,I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion completely lost as to why he was laughing at me.
Oh god did I have something on my face,did I smell weird? All these questions began zooming through my head,as he continued to laugh hysterically.
But oh my gosh his laugh you could never get enough of it,it was so adorable it was unexplainable.

"What's so funny?" I said curiosity running through my head,"you know Michael right?"
"Clifford?" I said raising an eyebrow,"yes" he said "what about him?"
"He's just an interesting guy" As he began laughing at his words,"Believe me I know" I said chuckling,referring to the time in 8th grade when he got dared to eat a grass hopper and ended up eating its leg."Yea well I was talking to his friend Luke I think that's his
Name,and he sent me the best picture of him" he said barely able to finish his sentence without Crying from laughter.Thanking the heavens that it wasn't me being laughed at although it happened to me a lot.

He quickly gave me his phone to see this "best picture of him",and when I saw it I began laughing harder than Ashton was,My intestines began to ache.It was Michael in some tight ass galaxy leggings,wearing a grey and blue sweater,and his dirty blonde hair was long and looked as though it covered his eye."Oh my gosh" I said trying to get myself together after that moment of laughter."I know right!" He said,"how long ago was that?"
"I have no idea"
I began to chuckle as the picture burned through my memory forever.

Me and Ashton made little conversation before our bus reached school,It really sucked riding the bus sometimes.I know why doesn't Ashton drive me?well you see Ashton has a car he just doesn't have his license yet he's failed his drivers test multiple times not because he's a bad driver it's just that he gets really bad Anxiety especially When he's under pressure.

Quickly getting off the bus I saw Ashton already waiting for me,I clumsily walked towards him and that's when I tripped over a rock and scraped my knee on the hard rocks.How the hell did that just happen I thought to myself,well it's me we're talking about here,Ashton quickly walked over to me and helped me up,and that's when my brain took complete control of my next words "Do you have a band-aid? Because I scraped my knees falling for you" I said processing what I just said,Ashton began giggling,and I soon joined him,what could I say I was a sucker for cheesy pick up lines,"Really" he said as he playfully rolled his eyes,"Hey it was good you gotta at least give me some credit" I said smiling,as we walked inside I'm sure to the Nurses office so that I could get a band-aid,"Yea it was" he said trying to hide his smile from forming.

We quickly got to the Nurses office and I took a seat on the cold metal chair,I told her what happened and she had me pull up my jeans to show her my knee,Embarrassingly I did so,but I hadn't shaved my legs in forever and god was that embarrassing it was winter for gods sake there was no point in shaving my legs.She quickly poured some Peroxide on a cotton ball and cleaned out my wound,it stung a little but I soon got over it and she put a band aid on it and I rolled my jeans back down,Got my back pack that laid on the chair next to me and gave her a quick thank you and left.

Ashton stood outside the door while he looked down at his phone,"Hey" he said as he looked up at me,"Hi" I said a stupid smile danced its Way on my lips."So?" He said as he raised an eyebrow "How's your knee"
"Pretty good it wasn't as bad as thought"
"Good" he said smiling,we stood their locking eyes,His eyes were so gorgeous.We stood their for another solid minute which felt like hours but it wasn't,until the bell rang saving me.He awkwardly cleared his throat "Well I guess I gotta go" he said
"oh uh yea"
"I'll see you in English?"
"Yup"
"Alright" he said before quickly giving me a hug and walking to his First period class.Sighing i began walking to class,I quickly got to my first period and took my seat,I couldn't stop thinking about our eyes locking together Gosh he was so cute,but way too out of my league,I was like the burnt fries at the bottom of the box that not many people wanted.
