Chapter 04

                          Allura POV
In that moment I had realized,maybe I wasn't out of his league after all.
He smiled to him self as he closed his eyes and took a deep breathe in,His forehead still resting on mine.The scent of cigarettes had faded away,my lips had never craved something so bad,and my liking for someone had never been so unbearable.Ashton then slowly pulled away as he smiled at me,And I smiled back.
"T-That was amazing" he said as though he was just replaying the scene in his head,Like I was.
"Yea" I said breathlessly,His hazel eyes showed so much mixed emotion of happiness but at the same time their was still part of him upset.
We stood there in awkward silence,as a tension began to build unknowingly,he awkwardly cleared his throat looking anywhere I was standing."Uh....yea so I.....guess I'll see you tomorrow?" He said

Well this couldn't get anymore awkward knowing that the buses had already left,and I had no ride home.

"oh uh yea,but um Ash? The buses probably already left how are we gonna get home?"
"Shit,I'll just um call my friend to come pick us up"
"Oh uh okay well..you don't think it would be awkward if they take home some random girl they don't know?"
"Nah he's pretty laid back,and besides he won't mind"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes of course"

He quickly pulled out his phone and began typing in a number that was a mystery to me,wait who was he calling?,I didn't even ask,but before I could ask it was too late.

"Hey Calum man,what are you doing right now?"
"Oh uh okay that's fine then never mind"
"No no I swear I'm good man,you're busy it's fine"
"Alright cool,yea I'll see you later"
"Alright okay bye man"
He sighed hanging up and looking up at me,"Well I guess I gotta go to plan B"
"Who was that?,and What's plan B?"

He didn't answer except type in another unknown number while he impatiently waited for whoever it was on the phone to pick up.
"Hey Mum?,you know much I love you right?"
"Well it would be awesome if you could pick me and my friend up from school you know give us a ride home?"
"Really?,oh thank you so much Mum I love you you're the best!"
"10? Alright we'll be there"

He hung up and looked up at me smiling "gotta love moms?" He said causing me to chuckle."she said she'd be here in about 10 minutes so we should start walking out front."I had never met his mom and I was a bit nervous I then quickly nodded following him down the stairs as silence took upon us again,there was only about six or seven kids on campus besides a couple of monitors,We had finally made it outside and I was immediately greeted with the cold air.goosebumps formed through out my entire body as I tried to keep myself warm,Ashton was quickly ahead of me as I stood awkwardly by myself by a big rock,he suddenly then looked up at me and lightly smiled and looked away.

About another minute or two had passed and the awkwardness was silently killing the both of us and so was the cold.I really didn't know what to say.I was looking down at my phone scrolling through my messages with one of my friends until I heard the crunching of the rocks coming closer to me and I immediately made eye contact with Ashton,his breathing began to quicken and my heart began to race,he leaned in not saying a word,I put my phone in my back pocket and placed my hands on his chest,our lips inches away,My heart was screaming to just lean in then suddenly all too fast I pushed Ashton away from me in instinct when I heard the sound of a car horn ring loudly throughout the parking lot.Ashton groaned as he had fell on his ass,I quickly walked up to Ashton helping him up.

"Ash I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean to I just got scared..and then...I-I don't know it was a quick reflex"
He began to chuckle as he dusted off his butt
"It's okay"
"Are you sure I pushed you pretty hard"
"I can take a push I'm fine" he said laughing
"Okay as long as you're okay" I said finally calming myself down,"I'm guessing that's your mom?" I said laughing awkwardly
"Yep" he said chuckling "Well what a great first impression" I said groaning as he giggled and he began walking to the all black Lexus,as I followed behind.
