To whom it may concern,
I hope this letter finds you well.
Let me first start by introducing myself to you, the reader of this letter. My name is Rose Red. I was gifted this name by my grandmother and my grandmother had the same name; she was granted the name by her grandmother and so on and so forth until you reach the original Rose Red, about one thousand years ago.
The original Rose Red name came from the story of Rose Red and Snow White. This Snow White has nothing to do with dwarves, evil witches, a prince, and castles. This story has a troll, bears, a magic cave, treasure, and two princes, but history is written by men mostly and their victories. This is our story and legacy, written by women for women. Appreciate it. Cherish it. Know it inside and out as you will add to it one day.
The letter of mine that you have found is old and copied and updated to modern English (It was originally written in Frisian, then German, then Norman French and Latin, then Middle English and now here we are in Modern English) and then I apologize if there is some missing information.
This may come as a shock to you, but I wish to say that magic exists, my dear reader. Magic is everywhere, but you just have to take a look and breath it in. What do you think? Do you think I am crazy? Obviously not if you are reading this letter. If you are reading this letter, then it means that you yourself are Rose Red or perhaps, by chance, you are Snow White. I remember my Snow White. She was a distant cousin, but we were close as we grew up.
Now, listen to me and listen to me well. There are people out there that want to destroy you. They want to take you and ruin your happiness. Reader, please fight your time's dwarf. He or she is out there! Fight!
With Warm Regards,
Rose Red L
P.S. I find that a little belief in magic takes a person a long way. Believe in it. Magic comes in all forms, no matter what it may bring you. Find your bear. Find your dwarf. Find your castle. Find your treasure. Find your other half of friendship and sisterhood.

General FictionRose Red and White Snow were not just a silly Grimms Brothers' story, but real. All is not as it seems and and it is time for the next generation to pick up her mantle or red cape rather. What will this generation's dwarf be?
