"Do you think she'll yell at me?" Blaine asked nervously. "I haven't seen her since I was barely pregnant at all, right when I first started showing," he whispered nervously. "She might. Blaine, you should have been going to all the appointments," Burt said, sighing. "I told Blaine that it could have no heartbeat and we wouldn't even know," Kurt said. "That's true, it could have no heartbeat." They weren't helping Blaine's nerves and if one more person dared to call his daughter an "it" he would go insane. "Guys, I'm sure the baby is fine," Carole said softly, sitting down next to Blaine and placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I just feel so out of place here," he whispered to Carole. "At least in New York it was a hospital, here it's just..a bunch of married pregnant ladies with their husbands and then there's me. I couldn't imagine going to this place all alone." "Well honey, now you don't, you have all three of us crazies with you!" Blaine smiled a little, nodding. "I think, I want Carole to come in with me." "Sounds great to me!" Kurt said, smiling, thinking he was off the hook. "And Kurt," Blaine said quietly, his eyes softening a little.
The nurse walked to the door, calling Blaine in. "Blaine Anderson?" She called, looking around the office. "I'm scared," he whispered, gribbing onto Carole's arm. "I can't do this." "Honey, you have to. It's been weeks and you've never even had your first appointment." Blaine nodded a little, standing up and heading into the room, with Kurt and Carole behind him. "Okay, could you step on the scale for me?" She asked, gesturing to the scale. Blaine got on, closing his eyes a little and exhaling. The nurse said a number, that Blaine forgot only a minute later or maybe he chose not to hear it in the first place. "He doesn't even look like he weighs that much," Kurt whispered to Carole. Carole gave him a look before moving back to Blaine. "Come on, honey." Blaine wrapped his arms around himself. Thirty pounds was a lot for only being in his early second trimester, even /he/ knew that. Once he got to the room, the nurse did the simple things; such as checking his blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Once she was finished, she handed him a cup, asking him to get her a urine sample. After Blaine did that, she said the doctor would be in with them shortly. Kurt sat down in one of the chairs. All this torture just to have a baby? How did women do it all the time? Carole sighed softly, remembering when she was pregnant with Finn. Blaine stayed completely silent, terrified by the idea of what the doctor would do to him.
