My ex and why's

Pagkapasok namin sa kitchen. Ay naabutan naming nagkakasiyahan ang lahat. Tito and Tita is here too.

Napatigin sila sa gawi namin.

"Hi girls." masayang bati ni tita.

"Come on. Take a sit." Aya ni Tito. Claire's trembling. I held her hand to calm her.

Umupo na kami. Nasa tabi ko si Aaron. Naramdaman ko ang pagpulupot ng kanyang braso sa aking bewang. Bolta boltaheng elektrisidad ang naramdaman ko nang mailapat ang kamay nito sa balat ko.

"Is there something wrong iha?" Nag aalalang tanong ni tita sakin nang makita ang paglaki nang mata ko.

"Wala po tita." Sagot ko. Napatingin siya sa gilid ko nang mapansin ang kamay sa baywang ko. Shit!

Tumaas ang kilay nito. Hindi na ko makatingin sakanila. Sila kuya Rence naman ay nasa Music room. Si Crey at Aaron kasama sila tito at tita lang ang andito, including me and Claire.

"May relasyon ba kayo?" Seryosong tanung ni tito. Jusko! What to do? Eh sa totoo lang naman walang namamagitan samin diba? Ginapang ako nang kaba.

"Yes po tito." Napatingin ako kay Aaron dahil sa sagot nito. WTF?! Is he fucking serious?! Pati ba  naman sa harap nang pamilya ko ay balak pa niyang magpanggap? This is insane! Tatanggi palang sana ako nang magsalita si tito.

"Does your parents knew about this?" Tito ask. Tumingin ako kay Aaron asking him what to say. Ngumisi ito sakin. Bumuntong hininga nalamang ako.

"Hindi po tito." Sagot ko. Hindi ko alam bakit naging sunod sunuran ako kay Aaron. This is out of our limit. The deal was to act infront of the campus and Danica. Hindi sumagi sa isip ko ang mainvolve sa personal life ko.

What if mom and dad knew about this? They would surely ask questions about it. I had never introduce a boyfriend to them, because the truth is i never had one. NBSB? Yes i am. Who cares? I'm not ready in commitments.

"Let's just enjoy this lunch. Nay Myrna, pahatid naman po yung mga pagkain." Magalang na utos ni Tita Kay Nanay Myrna. I was overwhelm nang iniba na ni Tita ang topic.

I heard Tita and Claire's conversation.
"Iha How was school?" Tita ask habang kumakain kami.

"It's great mom. Maayos naman. In fact the students welcome us with arms wide open." Halos matawa ako sa sinabi niya. Actually Masuka. Arms wide open, huh? Some students there need some psychiatrist. Come on!

"Oh i see. How's your relationship with Rey then?" Nagulat kami nang maibuga ni Crey ang iniinom niyang tubig. His eyes are wide na parang gulat na gulat. Why is he acting this way? Is there something wrong? Does he know kung sino si Rey noon sa buhay ni Claire? Or did Claire told him the night at the party? It doesn't matter anyway, i'm out of it. Sumulyap si Claire sakin at ngumuso. She doesn't want to talk about this topic. Pero it's her parents that's asking. Wala siyang choice but to just tell the truth.

"I'm sorry. I need to go to the washroom." Paalam ni Crey. At dali daling umalis sa inuupuan niya. Naningkit ang mata ko when i saw his jaw clench. It's like he's pissed or something. I can't point out.

"Mom, we broke up. If i'm not mistaken it's about 3 months ago. Nung summer."

"What's the reason?" Biglaang tanong ni tito.

"I found out that he's hitting another girl behind my back."

"What? That's ridiculous! I'm sorry hun." Tita said.

"That boy! How dare he." Tito comment. Hindi ko sila masisisi on their reaction. It's their daughter anyway. I wish ganyan rin si mommy saakin. But what can i do? Ayan yung gusto niya eh. Hindi ko maintindihan ang sarili ko. Sometimes i'm wishing for my mother, and sometimes i push her away. Ang gulo!

Tahimik lang kaming kumakain. I focus on my food. I felt Aaron's warm breathe sa bandang leeg ko. It sent shiver down to my spine. How can his little actions affect me so much?

"Will you move back? You're too close!" Pagalit na bulong ko. Nakakailang kasi. For pete's sake, we are infront of my tito and tita! Hindi ba siya nahihiya? Kunsabagay walang hiya naman ito. But still. It's my family members. Ugh. Such a stubborn!

He gave me his famous smirk that could make a girl squall. Pero di ko pinahalatang affected ako sa pagngisi niya. Lumayo ito at hinaplos ang aking bewang. Nagtindigan ang balahibo ko at kinurot siya kaya napatanggal bigla ang kamay niya. Tito and tita did not notice us. Masinsinang nag uusap ang tatlo. Hindi ko nalamang binigyan nang pansin.

Pagkatapos naming kumain. Claire said that we will watch movie at the theatre room. I agree, kasi wala naman akong gagawin. Besides, rest day narin. School is making me stressed. Their's so much paperworks. 1st semester palang eh pinepressure na kami. But i'm a Dominique. I shouldn't dissapoint my family. Dala dala ko ang pangalan. Isang mali lang, media would destroy my whole life. Hay!

Andito rin sina Aaron and Crey. Claire was just beside me. Nakakapanibago ang pagiging tahimik niya. We decided to watch 'My Ex and Why's'..

Mel screech beside kuya Gino. Bumaling ako sa kung saan sila and i caught Kuya Gino peck a kiss ka Mel. Napangiti ako sakanila. Their love story is just perfect kahit di ko sila lubusang kilala ay magaan ang loob ko sakanila. It's like i can trust them.

"Damn it! Bakit ito pa ang napiling panoorin?" Bulong ni Claire sakanyang sarili. Liningon ito ni Crey probably he heard her whisper. Crey clenched his jaw. He look away nang lumingon sakanya si Claire.

Naisip ko yung consequence ko sakanya. It's too much. Pwedeng pwede kong bawiin yun. The child needs a father. I mean, ayokong maging hadlang ako sakanila. It's just a one night pero nagbunga agad. Hindi sila nag ingat. Maraming responsibilidad ang dapat nilang i-consider para sa baby.

After the movie, nagkanya kanya na kami the boys went to the court to play basketball sa likod nang mansyon malapit sa may pool area. Kasama nila si Ate Melody. Claire directly went to her Room. Sumunod ako sakanya.

It's 3 o'clock.

"That movie sucks! What the hell!" Claire said hysterically. I was confused. Maybe it's because the leading lady and man had complications with their relationship. I must say it has moral lesson. And the movie was entertaining. Pero why would she panic ?

"Calm down. It's just a movie. Maliban nalang kung affected ka." Pang aasar ko. I was just kidding!

She throw me her pillow and it hits my face that cause me to fall down at the couch.

"Aw!"

"Heh! I'm not affected. It's just.... Ugh! Nevermind" Lately, Madali na siyang mairita at mapikon.

Nagpaalam ako kay Claire na bibisita lang ako saglit sa mansyon.

"Magpahatid ka sa driver. And text me kung papasundo ka na. Take care." Bilin sakin ni Claire.

"Aye aye captain!" Natatawang sagot ko.
