*riiing riiing*

Nandito akong kitchen, preparing our breakfast nang biglang magring yung phone ko. Kinuha ko ito.

Dad's calling

"Good morning dad" masayang bati ko kay dad.

"Good morning too, my princess. I'm sorry for not calling you."

"Oh that?  It's fine."

"I'm really sorry i'm just----"

I cut him off.
"Yeah i know you're busy at work, dad i know that. And i understand." I said and smiled even though hindi niya ako nakikita.

I heard him heaved a sigh.
"I'll make it up to you, my princess. So? How's school?"

Ikwinento ko sakanya ang mga nangyari sa school as in lahat.....

"Oh! Are you sure you're okay? Di ka ba masyadong nasaktan dun sa scene niyo ni-- ugh what's her name again?"

Napatawa ako dahil nakalimutan niya agad. "Dad, it's Meredith Santos."

"Uhuh! Santos Inc. They were demanding on having partnership with our company. And i decline. But desperado na silang makakuha nang partnership saatin. I decline parin, because may record sila na nakipag partnership ang Santos Inc. Sa isang kilalang kompanya ang Trioly Company. Then Trioly company got bankcrupt. Bumagsak ito. And i don't think that Santos Inc. is good in business. They were opportunists, a gold diggers. Well sorry for them. I would never let them in-our company." Mahabang explanasyon ni dad.

Oh. Gold digger! Hindi ba sila nahihiya? Tch.

"Uhuh? Tss. By the way dad how's mom?"

"Ang mom mo? She's too busy on her work. Sabi ko nga sakanya na samahan ka na lang dyan. Para di ka nag iisa. Pero sabi niya okay ka naman raw diyan kaya no need."

Nalungkot ako sa sinabing yun ni dad at the same time nagagalit ako kay mom. She doesn't really care for her daughter!

"How can she be so sure na okay lang ako without you, mom and kuya? All she thinks about is her work. Hindi ba sumagi sa isip niya, na kung ano nang lagay ko? Anyway she doesn't seem to care about me." Galit kong sabi.

"Don't ever think that way, my princess. She cares for you." Nangungumbinsing sabi ni dad. I really wish na andito si dad, tutal sila lang ni kuya ang may pakialam sakin. Atleast kahit busy sila, may time parin sila sakin di katulad ni mom. Tumawag lang sakin di pa magawa.

"Yeah dad she cares for me, infact she let me live alone here." I said sarcatically. And i rolled my eyes.

"Hmm. Calm down. I'll try to convince your mom."

"No need dad. If she really does care about me, she would be the one coming here without any demand from you. Anyway, Claire is with me here. Remember? I don't need mom here."

"Okay if that's what you want. I need to hang up. May aasikasuhin pa ako."

"Hmm. Bye dad. Say hi to Kuya Mich and i miss him." Nakangiti kong sabi.

" I will. Bye, mag-iingat kayo diyan ni Claire. I love you, anak."

"I love you too dad. I have to go narin kasi we have class."

Then after that, dad hungs-up.

"Good morning, Nics." Claire greeted and walk towards me.. I smiled at her.

"Morning, sweetie. Let's eat."

She sits opposite from me, then we started eating and chatting.
