Chapter 28;

"Wow,Jake,! pinch me again and tell me I'm not dreaming"! Dakota runs down the stairs of the plane like a kid,and jumps on Jakes back,

"Your not dreaming Dakota,come on! the drivers waiting,he tells her as he puts her down.

We arrive late at night and get in the limousine that I hired, I've been planning everything for the past week while Dakota was

recovering,

The limo stops us at the Shangri-La Hotel and we walk to the concierge who shows us to our room,

Dakota looks like a little kid in a candy store,she let's nothing pass her by, and her tiny hand grips mine a little to tight,but I don't mind because I haven't seen her smile in a while.

I have booked the Eiffel suite for my Dakota, so when she looks out of the balcony,the Eiffel Tower awaits her,and I have planned to have dinner out on the balcony tomorrow night and propose to her,I don't want to waist a minute more without making that woman my wife and showing her what real life is about,she had been trapped and owned by a barbarian all her life,that she's forgotten how to love and to be loved,

everything that she's ever cared for had been taken away from her all her life,I want to be the one to show her how to live and how to laugh,and I most definitely want to show her time and time again how to be loved.

She enters the room and her mouth drops open at the beauty of it,

"Oh my god Jake,! this must've cost you a fortune, it looks so expensive" she squeals,!

"Only the best for my baby"I tell her as I pull her towards me and close the door,I have her on the wall with her hands above her head,and slowly start touching her, starting from her fingers down to the side of her breast then make my way down to her hips, I grab her butt cheeks and squeeze them tight,then lift her up until her legs are wrapped around my waist, I place my forehead on hers and tell her the words I've been denying myself since I met her,"I love you baby"and I kiss her with everything I have.

What started of as a favor to my friend,ended up saving the love of my life,I will owe Nathan many favors in the after life,its because of him, Dakota is in my life.

If someone would've asked me a year ago, if I'd ever consider marriage, I would've told them, never! I was content with my life,I had a shit load of money and women any time I wanted.

I worked for myself just for the adventure of it,I travelled everywhere and there was no one to hold me back,but ever since I saw Dakota, something changed within me, I didn't want that life anymore,not without her in it, I want the adventure with her,I want to travel with her, I want to spend my money with her,but most of all, I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

I put a very sated Dakota down and tell her we need to sleep,
