After 4 long years of studying I have finally completed my degree in education. And what was most graduates looking forward to??...GRADUATION!!!!

"Arianna" I hear my mother screaming from the kitchen. I jump of my bed without tripping over anything and run to the kitchen. "Yes ma ,you called?" I say annoyed. "Hunny it's 1:00pm, I think you should be getting ready for graduation." Yes...yes I know I get delayed and how things can go wrong.

Its always best to get an early start. "Yes mum I was just about to go into the shower when you called" I had to lie. My mother always thought of me being irresponsible and not being able to take care of myself.

Walking down the passage of our home I decided to take a cool shower. Being April it was still quite hot and it was always quite humid. Before I head into the shower I call my childhood friend Nic. She answers on the second ring.

"Expecting someone?" I ask and we both laugh. "Hey Nic how are you?." "Ari , I'm good"

"Nic I need you to come help me out with dressing up for grad." All I hear was a scream and she cuts the call.

After my shower I stood in my room with a towel wrapped around my curvy body. Gosh I hate these curves I'm pretty sure tomboys aren't suppose to have what I do. Nic arrives 10 minutes after that I manage to put my undies, roll on and lotion.

Nic is busy going through my cupboards looking for something that I can wear."Ari howcome I never see you in half of these things you have in here?." She points to the formal clothes in the cupboard. "Well Nic, as we both know I dont have any place to wear them to and I'm not as skinny as you to show off my body."

She pretends to cough. "Hey...look her missy you have a killer body I wish I had boobs like yours or even your full lips or just your hips or butt. But we just need to be greatful for what we have... dont we?." She smiles at me.

"Yeah you right" I just stared at her blankly. Who wants my curves??? come take it!!! I'll trade!!

Nic screams she had found a dress for me. A dress I suppose to use on a date which I never go on because the invite went to the wrong person. Great... yeah I know who will want to date me... I wouldn't.....

"Girls you better get a move on we don't have much time" A wise lady said always leave an hour early just incase we get stuck in traffic....

"Aunty Tammy, look what I found, and I think it is perfect." She holds up the

"Oh my ... its perfect. Hunny why did we buy this dress again?." My mum looks at me confussed. "The date that never happened mum!! " I say annoyed and she raises her eyebrows.

The dress is a coral one shoulder, fitted dress with slit that comes up mid thigh.....And It will do for today.

"I'll leave you two girls alone, and please clean up Ari, and dont be too late we leave at 4:00pm" My my says sternly.

While Nic does my hair we catch up on life and whats been happening. She is now working for the family business and I have to find my own job which is very hard!!!.

Nic styles my hair into soft curls and pins it to one side. She then does my makeup which I tell her to go all natural. I take mental notes as I would be needing this later on. Nic is lucky she has a small frame , stright brown hair flawless olive skin and green eyes. She could of been a Model only if she had some hight....

As for me I have tanned skin with some pimples now and again, I'm average hight at 1.65m and dark brown curly hair, and full pink lips. Apparently my brown hazel eyes are my best feature... Atleast someone could want something of mine...

After hair and make up is done I put the dress on and Nic lends me some of her accessories early to bling up my look. Geez I'm not that dull.

After I put Nic's wedges on. I say quick prayer to ask God not to let me fall. It's my first time wearing heels of some sort so I am gonna do it properly. I look at my in the mirror. And I must say I look Hot!! Geez Ari you sounding abit vain, let someone else judge that.

I have to give Nic credit, she did a damn good job. " Hey Nic Thanks alot, I'll call you tonight" I give her a big hug and we walk to the enterence of my house. We wave goodbye and I see her jump in her Mini Cooper S.
