A/N: I am doing Austin’s POV for a reason. I hope to give you guys a lot more insight as to who the traitor is..... Although, if you reread the summary for this story, the answers there..... You just have to look very carefully... Im like shouting the person to all of you and only one person has come CLOSE to who it is.... But they don’t know that... They would, had they not said the other person first...... I do intend to reveal the betrayer in this chapter, BUT that doesn’t mean it’s the only twist..... This chapter is going to be VERY overwhelming because its going to have a lot of twists.... But I promise nothing to confusing.

Also, Sarah’s brother is Michael NOT David. So sorry if when I said it was David, it confused you.

Anyways. I went out of town, but now I’m back and ready to upload!! :D

Sorry for any mistakes. This has not been edited.

(Austin’s POV)

I opened the door to my father’s office and hoped that he wouldn’t be angry with the answer I was about to give him. It wasn’t liked I had waned to pick a fight with that Luke kid, but really it was way to easy. Who knew talking about someones mate could counteract the reaction they gave off? Well.... Had it been my mate, I would have done the same thing. But no one knows my mate. No one will ever know who it is, either. If I’m to protect her, her identity has to remain a secret.

“Austin. What’s the verdict on Lance and Sarah?” My father asked as he leaned back in his chair, his dark eyes focused on me.

I sighed and ventured on how exactly I explained this to him. ‘Hey dad, I’m on good terms with Sarah, but Lance already hates my guts and we all know why. I also struck a fight with one of Lance’s pack members, but you know. Everything is all good.

“Son. I asked you a question! Answer me!” My father growled as he slammed his fist down onto his desk. I could tell his wolf was fighting to take control and being an alpha made that inner struggle that much worse.

“I did as you asked. I went to school and got on good terms with Sarah. But Lance hates me. I mean he really hates me,” I told him and then I looked at the wall furthest from his desk. “I also got in a fight with one the the pack members from Lance’s pack.”

My father had me against the wall before I even had a chance to blink. This as the side of my father that I hated. My mother was a good person and dad he was..... Well not a bad person, but a very emotionally confused man. “You what?”

“Well.... I.....,” I tied to speak, but his fingers were cutting off my airways. I hated the man he had made me, but what else was I supposed to do? I was the only one of his sons that he had managed to protect.

My brothers.

The thought of them made me shake. They were both out there living their lives with their mates. How could I not want to take that away from them? My father wanted it more then me. He wanted to take both of them down. All because they had managed to get away from him in his weakest moment. It wasn’t exactly their faults though.

Lance had been 3 when he was taken. Being older than me, he was supposed to protect me. But what was a three year old alpha supposed to do? Kick and scream? Cry? All of the above? No. Lance had done the one thing any little boy would do at his age. He cried out for ‘mommy.’ But mommy never came and instead Lance was taken by a she-wolf, who had been a rogue. She later found her mate and together they had raised Lance.

Nick, being the oldest, was taken when he was a baby. Mom had given him up for adoption to keep him away from our father. Last I heard, the people who had adopted him had arranged a marriage for him the day that they got him. Nick had been the lucky one of the three of us. He at least had a perfect life. Lance had ended up leaving his parents at the age of 14, when he found out that he wasn’t biologically theirs.

I, on the other hand, was never taken. Mom had me 2 years after she had Lance, which makes me the youngest. I stayed with mom. She hadn’t wanted to give me up, because she had felt so guilty about giving her other two sons up and now here I was, face to face with our father.

“Your were give a specific order and you failed! Failed! You were supposed to get Lance to like you so that you could join his pack, but you can’t even do that can you?! Your are probably the stupidest son I’ve ever had!” My father scolded as he dropped me to the floor.

I got to my feet, ignoring his snide remark and I walked out of his room at a quick pace. I didn’t want to see my father drinking. I didn’t want to see the anger that he would portray once he was drunk.

So I made my way to the phone. I needed to call my mate. I had to call and make sure she was alright. My father was a smart man and if he had found out about her.... I don’t know what I would do. I love her to death and if anything ever happened to her, I’d never forgive myself. She was the only good thing I had and I would never let her go.

“Hey,” her voice chirped on the other end of the line.

“Hey baby. I miss you,” I told her, a smile plastered to my face. Emily. That was her name. She was a beautiful fire haired beauty and I loved her with all of my heart. I wish I could be with her forever, but right now, I have to follow through with my fathers orders and that means I have to act.
