The Wanderings of a Pirate Named Zoro

My first attempt at a Fanfic! And first thing on Wattpad!

This story is thrown in after Fishman Island when they resurface. It starts on the Thousand Sunny, but it'll end up...... who knows where?

Note From the Future - I probably won't be updating this story again until I finish Your Life is Lie and/or figure out what I'm doing with this story....

In the meantime, I looked over the first few chapters and.... they suck. 0.o

Zoro yawns and sits up, taking a sip from the sake bottle he had found in his hand as he woke up. Bored, he throws a glance over the side of the ship.

The Straw Hat Crew is approaching a green, forest covered island.

Though it appears to be a normal, peaceful village.... Well. They are in the New World. Normal islands doesn't exist. Maybe Zoro will get lucky and find a decent swordsman to fight...

Luffy swings around the ship on his stretched out gum-gum arm. "Hey! We're alllllmost to the first island! GUYS!"

Nami bonks him on the head as he passes the helm. "Settle down baka!" she barks.

Luffy comes to a stop, sweat dropping

"Super!" Franky dances his way to the front of the ship. "Almost there."

Zoro raises an eyebrow. "Where are we?" he mumbles.

"Fufufu," Robin laughs softly, appearing to the side of Zoro.

Zoro jumps. "Give me some warning next time, you crazy woman."

Robin smirks.

Zoro rises to his feet and reaches for his swords. "Die!" he shouts.

Robin bends her arm. "Treinta fleu-"

Chopper pops up between them, arms swinging around frantically. "Don't kill each other! I can't heal you if you're already dead!"

Sanji appears behind him. "If you hurt this beautiful lady Zoro, I'll never forgive you."

Zoro sighs and chugs the rest of his sake. "I just need to kill somebody..."

Chopper sweat drops. Sanji scowls.

Luffy throws his arms into the air, unfazed by it all. "First island in the New World!"

A skeleton jumps through a trapdoor in the floor. "Alright! Let's celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Brook begins singing a random song without an actual melody.

"Stop singing and help me land the ship!" Nami shouts.

Everyone else grins at each other. "Jump for it!" Zoro yells cheerily.

"Shishishi." Luffy laughs and slingshots onto the docks.

As they glance back to take in Nami's angry reaction, Franky facepalms. "We forgot Usopp..."

The long-nosed sniper takes that moment to fall out of the crow's nest. Spotting Nami, he panics and runs around the ship frantically. "Help, help!" he shouts.

Robin sends an arm onto the ship and throws him over. "C'mon, we need to get moving."

The Strawhat Crew takes off towards the town. "I'll kill you all!" Namie screams. "And then I'll take all of your treasure! No wait, I'll take your treasure first! It's all mine..."

Zoro grins and starts running. He suddenly jerks to a stop. "Hey, what was that-" He stares down. He has one foot about to step over the Ocean.

Robin smirks, holding him up by the back of his shirt. "The town... is the other way."

Zoro glares darkly. "Yeah. Right. I knew that. " He takes off running the opposite direction.

Several minutes later he stops to look around. The town had moved, hadn't it? He scratches his head. Now where is he supposed to go? Forward? He shrugs. Always forward.

Shhhhing

Something metallic whizzes past.

Skidding to a stop, he stares at the strange small, sharp knives embedded into the tree trunk, less than a foot to his left. "What the-"

He stares around at the forest. The trees and forest creatures seem different, as if they were drawn by a different artist..... or something. Something crazy like that.

Zoro blinks as a red haired teenager appears in front of him.

They stare at each other blankly.

"State your name and business. "

Zoro smirks. "Is this a challenge. "

"In the name of Sand Village and my position as Kazekagage, I will NOT allow any intruders to threaten this land. State you name and business."

Zoro scratches the back of his head. "So you want to fight?"

"I haven't seen you in the bingo book." The redhead states. "Ate you a samurai?"

Zoro growls. "DO I LOOK LIKE A SAMURAI?!!!!!!"

A blast of sand knocks him backwards. "Whatever you ate, you look hostile."

Zoro jumps up, triple swords ready for action.

A blond female slides in front of the redhead. "Gaara! You know you're not supposed to be here! You have a meeting!"

"Temari," This Gaara says coolly. "Just because I'm the Kazekage does NOT mean that I can't do any light training before I have to sit a around for hours listening to people talk...."

"You're the most important person in our village!" Temari shouts. "You can't go risking you life constantly!"

Gaara sighs. "Very well..."

Zoro snorts and leans back against a tree. "You guys forgetting something?"

Temari stares at him. "Who are you?"

Zoro smirks. "Roranoa Zoro, at your service."

The blonde sweat drops. "W-what are you doing here?"

"I don't know where I am..."

Temari looks accusingly at Gaara. "You attacked him for NO REASON?!?!?!?!?!?!"

The redhead rolls his eyes. "He wouldn't tell me who he is! He could've said he's just LOST."

"I'm NOT LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zoro shouts. "This place just.... got in the way!!!!!!!!!!"

The two Sand Siblings sweat drop.

"So... Are we gonna fight?" Zoro reaches for his sword.

"Uh... Let's just go to the village and get this sorted out," Temari says tiredly. Gaara nods.

Zoro closes his eyes. "Price of peaceful negotiations - 15 bottles of sake."
