The sun began to peek through the windows in my bedroom. I woke up startled and a little bit frazzled. It took me a couple minutes to re-group and for me to check my surroundings. Then I remember what had happened last night. My mind became drowned in all the events of yesterday. I tried to push those thoughts out of my mind. I was hungry.

I walked downstairs and began to make breakfast... I felt like pancakes, I took the pancake mix out of the pantry, added a cup of water and some chocolate chips. Then I turned on the frying pan and added oil.

I flipped over the last pancake and marvelled at my massive stack of delicious looking pancakes. Josh came downstairs, bags were forming under his eyes and he seemed in a daze of fatigue. He must have stayed up late last night.

"I made some chocolate chip pancakes." I called to Josh as he neared towards the dining room table.

"Yum." His expression at the word pancakes changed almost instantly, he grabbed a fork from the silverware drawer and came and sat next to me.

"You can have the rest." I said quietly

"But you only had one pancake." Josh questioned

"I'm really just not hungry, you look like your hungry eat up." I grinned at him, he didn't question me any further and began devouring the pancakes on the plate.

"I'm going to go to look around at some office buildings and stuff." I said to Josh as he was putting the plate and forks in the dish washer.

"Sounds good, I've got a lunch break at twelve. Do you want to meet up somewhere for lunch?" Josh asked

"Yeah sure, how about Rabbit?"

"Sounds great." I said heading upstairs to my bedroom to go and get changed "Take the spare house keys just in case." I turned to Josh and then headed upstairs.

After what felt like a hike up the stairs I arrived at my bedroom. I opened my walk in wardrobe and retrieved some smart looking attire. I tied up my hair into a sleek ponytail with a thick velvet hairband. I took out my make-up bag, it felt so alien to touch it. I hadn't worn make-up since after the wedding incidence since I hadn't been out anywhere I didn't feel the necessity to wear make-up.

I added the final touches to my eyeliner and lipstick, zipped up my make-up back and took a small black purse, took my phone off of the charger and headed out. I called goodbye to Josh and started office hunting.

As a wedding present from my father I got a large sum of money to start up my business. It was to be a large firm with two departments - Charity and Aid department, associated with medicine and a Law Firm, associated with law of course.

My first stop was an office block in Central London. I grabbed a taxi and headed into the center of London. It was a large office building with three floors. Ground floor, First Floor and Second Floor.

The ground floor consisted of a lobby, it had polished white marble floors and when I walked to the elevator, I felt a sense of power as my heels clicked and echoed within the lobby.

The first floor had a large meeting floor and multiple offices and large desks with computers and also some separate cubicles for secretaries.

The second floor was the same as the first except on half of the floor was for the boss. That would be me. I unlocked the door to the office and peered in. It was gigantic there was the same marble on the floors as the lobby. There were no walls it was just large glass panes and had the most amazing view of the London skyline. I think this one was at the top of the list.

After ten more different office buildings, the one in Central London was still my favourite. I decided to contact the agent and give her the good news. I also called the rest of the companies of the other buildings and declined their offers. It was 11:30 and I was about twenty minutes away from the restaurant that Josh and I had decided to meet up at. I grabbed the twelfth taxi of the day of the day, I really needed a car.

Soon enough, I arrived at the Rabbit, it was a restaurant with a lot of character and I liked it. The floors were made of wooden planks that looked a little worn, but I gave the building a rustic and homely feel. It reminded me of Nana B's cottage on the suburbs of New York. I asked the waiter for a table for two and sat down. As I was waiting for Josh I decided to call Nana B as we hadn't last talked since I was invited into her house in New York.

We had an enjoyable conversation, she was thinking of stopping to have a visit in London soon. I encouraged her profusely and she said she would be coming for the Grand Opening for my company "Blaze Foundation".

Josh arrived at the table and sat down, we got given menus and then began to order. I had a small meal and a drink. I wasn't that hungry. Josh and I had a good conversation. He was telling me though how he was worried about losing his job since the company he worked for wasn't doing very well. I surprised him and began to tell him about my new company I was thinking of making. He sounded so happy I decided that maybe we should partner up, he could manage the Charity and aid department and I could manage the law department.

"Josh. I know what we could name it."

"What?" He asked he hadn't stopped smiling since I mentioned a new job to him.

"Campbell and Kand." I said putting my hands up to resemble how big and well known it was to be.

"I... LOVE IT!" He cried

For the rest of our lunch we continued to chat about our plans for the company. It was awesome I was so excited. Josh went back to the office and decided to quit and we both began making signs and posting advertisements all around where I lived. I also asked capital FM to put an advert on the radio. I then posted the adverts to the bus company in London and we even bought a billboard on the M4.

By the end of the day we were both shattered, we had gotten so many calls and emails. I then got a call from the building company. We had the office building and we could start using it tomorrow. We began to then reply to everyone's emails and phoned people back, tomorrow was going to be a full day of interviewing.

Still in our work clothes we flopped onto my bed and fell straight asleep.
