Uh, Dear Journal:

Today was pretty normal. If by normal you mean, Bellatrix Cean starting a food fight with Todd Cooper in the cafeteria and getting sent to the principle's office after tossing a cream pie at her twin sister Katlynn. Well, I started to think it was normal. I thought it was gonna be another typical day, until I heard the announcement that there were two new students who arrived today. Jackie Sara, a total amazing Christian who I actually already met at my Church last Sunday. She's cool, and pretty nice. And... Unti Lenox. She entered the cafeteria, and the second I saw her my heart felt like it just- melted. It was... weird. I couldn't stop staring at her. Apparently, neither could any of the other students stop staring at her and Jackie Sara. I thought it was 'cause they thought they were cool looking and pretty or something, or because they were newbies, etc... but I was wrong. One of the kids shouted, "FREAKS!" and threw their drink at Unti. Jackie Sara's side of her shirt and shrug got soaked since she was standing right next to Unti, but Unti... dang... she didn't get wet at all! It was like, like, like she just, disappeared! That only made me like her more. W-well, I mean, Like as in I thought she was cool and all, y'know? ...Heh...

A-anyways, they kinda just shrugged it off and continued walking through the cafeteria to find a table. Jackie Sara noticed one of the kids mumble "Jerk" under her breath to the kids who threw the drink and for some reason, that seemed to convince Jackie Sara to want to sit there. I don't really get it, because that was also the same table where the kid who threw the drink was sitting as well.

I turned around, and there was Unti Lenox. Staring right at me. I can't tell if she was just observing me, thinking to herself, or staring off into the distance because her eyes only looked around the room once then just continued to stare straight forwards. She took one look at me, and we kinda just... looked at each other for a minute. The kids soon began to talk again and after that moment of silence I guess Unti decided I was chill and she sat next to me. I don't know why, but I remember my face feeling like it was on fire. I was about to take a bite of a sandwich my mom made me when I got that shocking pain in my neck from my collar that I get everyday. I have an electric collar.

I was bullied once when I was younger; the memory is kinda blurry but I remember a guy getting rid of the kids who were bullying me. They were teasing about the blue marks on my body, and how I was a freak for having them. I mean, sure they had marks too, but that's because they were wolves! Wolves usually change and dye their colors to be able to tell each other apart and show off their style and personality to one another. Kinda like Katlynn and Bellatrix, but they're pretty chill. Katlynn usually wears yellow, light blue, and sometimes green colors which is kinda strange. A lot of times she wears her own outfits that she actually made herself. Bellatrix is awesome, and an amazing singer, although she doesn't usually sing out loud near others, which is sad. Katlynn has purple hair that goes down her back, along with light tan skin and pink lipstick. She has some pearl and heart-like designs in her ears and on her tail as well. Bellatrix is a blonde with short hair. She likes hats, but doesn't wear them 24/7 like she does with her dragon earring. She has purple skin and teal marks all over her body. All. Over. Her body. She also has a couple of scars, including one on the left side (when facing her) of her cheek. Kids say it was from when some freak tried grabbing her sister's tail, and she punched him in the face. They say the guy cut through the skin on her cheek with his claws and left that scar there. Dunno if the rumors are true, but honestly, I'm kind of starting to wonder if they are.

Enough about that, back to the subject of my collar.

There are wolves who aren't as "nice" as Kat and Trix are. These guys, were jerks. You think it was a good thing that guy came along and "saved" me from their claws? I did too. I was wrong. The guy took me away and stuck an electric collar on my neck... other kids think it's a fashion statement... but my cousin Annabelle, parents, and I know what it really is. It's a gift from Hell. I'm sorry, I didn't want to have to use that word, but it's the best way I can describe it. The cursed guy stuck one on my cousin as well... I have no idea how he got to her as well, but he did. I found it around her neck about a week after it happened to me. For some reason, every time something happens, I don't know what, he "shocks" me. Same goes with Annabelle. When my parents found out they tried to get rid of the darn thing, but it wouldn't come off. if would just shock them as well. I've learned to live with it. So has my cousin. Honestly, she seems to act like she's handling it better. I mean, I feel like ever since this happened we've become closer to each other. We talk about our problems, our troubles, everything. It's... kinda nice.

The shock from the collar almost made me faint. Unti looked over to me, with a face I can't really describe... she was still sitting in her seat, but she looked down at me as if she just watched a relative die in front of her, and she didn't know how to feel about it.

"Uh, are you okay?" She asked, still sitting down and staring at me as I was partially on the floor, the upper half of my body kinda Slipping even more on the side of the chair I was sitting on.

I shook my head. "Yeah, I'm okay. I guess." I said as I took her hand that she let out for me to grab. I pulled myself back up the seat. "Hey, s-so you're Unti Lenox?" She nodded. "T-that's an interesting name." Oh gosh, I was being such a dork now that I think back to this moment... "Yeah. I didn't really choose it." I remember wondering  why I even made that comment about her name. I wondered what she meant with her response as well. 'Didn't choose it'? Uh... we get the name from our parents... we don't usually choose our own names. Heh. "Oh, uh, no that's not what I mean. I meant, well, because I'm kinda part-ghost I don't know my real name. I was given this name from the people who sent me here." She seemed fine for a while as she was talking, but then she had a worried/stressed kind of look on her face.

"What do you mean? People who brought you here... who brought you here?"

"I don't know if it's safe to tell you."

"It's okay... you can trust me." I looked her straight in the eye. ...Again.

I noticed they were teal, kinda like the marks Bellatrix has... except Unti's eyes had like a hazy feel to them. Like... in a moment she was going to wisp away, and turn into dust. A mere memory from history.

She got up and before she walked away from me, she turned around and said the word "Tech." and then she floated off to class.

Tech... wait a minute... those are the words on my collar... "T.E.C.H."

Someone screamed, and pointed at my hand. It was covered in blood. The tip of one of my fingers was actually lying on the floor, which I hadn't noticed at first because I was too busy staring at the cuts on my hand.

...Unti... Her hands... th-they weren't hands... they're- Oh my god.
