Chapter 4

I came back home on full smile mode. I was swaying from side to side like a drunk fool.

"Hey. Are you ok?" Lexi asked worried when she saw my appearance.

"I think she's drunk," Samantha said.

"I'm perfect guys. Not only did I find a new dance partner but I landed a date with a hot new guy," I smiled and their eyes widened.

"Score! Oh my god, you're on a roll. Who is he? Where's he from? Tell me everything! Wait, what happened to Dan?" Lexi bombarded me with questions.

"Poor Dan. His love for you was the death of him," Sam sighed dramatically and I rolled my eyes.

"Dan and I talked today and we're ready to move on. We'll be alright without each other. As for the new guy, his name is Kendal and he's new to Riverton. He came here a couple of weeks ago," I explained and Lexi sat down on the sofa.

"Why did he come here though?" Lexi asked.

"For love," I smiled. It was a really cute reason. Lexi looked at me like I was crazy and Sam just shook her head.

"Explain, please?" Sam said.

"He fell in love with this girl a couple of years back and he thought he would find her here. Its the only link he's had in a while and he decided to take it," I explained.

"So you're going on a date with a guy who came all the way to another town, searching for his ex girlfriend, who he is still in love with?" Sam asked. My smile dropped and I slowly nodded.

"This guy better be hot cause you're gonna have some drama coming at you. I swear, how in love was he with her. He was fifteen, it shouldn't have been that big of a deal," Lexi sighed and I laughed at how insensitive she was being.

"Lexi," I said.

"What, I'm sorry, but, its the truth. This feels like vampire diaries all over again," she rolled her eyes and my eyes lit up at the mention of vampire diaries.

"I know right. This is so Stephan Salvatore. He came to mystic falls for Katherine and stayed for Elena," I smiled.

"And she eventually ended up in a beautifully intoxicating and consuming relationship with his bad ass, sexy brother, Damon Salvatore," Lexi smiled.

"Lexi!" I whined.

"You know I'm a Delena fan. I mean, Stephan is hot and deep but Damon is reckless, sexy, dangerous, intoxicating. Only his type of love could make you feel alive," Lexi smirked.

"Don't forget mysterious. He has some mystery to his personality," Sam said and the two nodded at each other. 

"Ok, both of you take your lust for Damon elsewhere. I have to go watch the latest episode of Vampire Diaries, in hopes that Caroline and Stephan will work out their problems," I said and Lexi laughed.

"Long live Steroline," Sam praised sarcastically.

"Go in kido," Lexi smiled and headed for the kitchen.

"By the way, your parents left today; they went to Pennsylvania. They said they'd be back in about a month. So, I'm gonna be picking any of you up if you have after school activities," Lexi informed us and we thanked her.

Every thing else went like a blur the next day. I looked for new updates of Teen Wolf and The Originals on the CW Instagram. I went to school, had some lessons, hung out with the girls. Now, I had math as my last lesson of the day, before my date with Kendal.

"Alright class," Mr Mark started. "As it is now the second day of school, we can start getting more serious with our work. But, since its my first lesson of the term with you guys, can the new students please tell me their names?"
