Jessica's P.O.V
I heard some one walk into the room and I turned around in my seat. When I noticed it was Mike my face hardened.
"Start explaining right now." I ordered staring deep into his brown eyes.
He let out a sigh and took a seat next to me.
"Here goes nothing." He said sighing.
"Ok. So.. Remember when you woke up one morning and I wasn't in bed beside you?" He questioned.
"Yea. You left a note saying you had work." I said recalling back to that day.
"Yea.. Well.. I was meeting with my father. He came later in the night and asked me to come with him. I followed him out into the woods. The sun was just coming up so we were able to see.
By the time we made it to the cabin it was already bright and early. He took me inside and into to some room that was neatly done.
I took a seat and he sat across from me.
I asked him why he was took me there.. I was also a bit freaked because I myself thought my own father was dead.. Dead for 10 years!
He told me a story.. Something that horrific.
So.. He told me.. The reason he pretended his death was to get away from my mother. He never loved my mother.
Even though she was his soul mate and your supposed to love your mate he didn't..
He faked his death to be able to get away from her.
But.. He didn't know how much pain that caused my mother.. He was the reason she went into depression and ended up killing herself...
Remember that night I came home distressed and randomly kissed you and was acting weird?" He asked his eyes all teary.
"Yea of course. You told me you would never leave and stuff." I said shifting uncomfortably in my seat from the story
"Well.. That was just to reassure myself I would never leave you and I will always love." He said then hugging me.
Oh my gosh..
I hugged him back tighter. That's a horrible way to loose both your parents and his father is a sick person..
"I'm sorry for not telling you earlier." He apologized.
"No don't apologize Mike." I told him and give him a quick kiss. I felt the mood was a bit sad and I wanted to lighten it up a bit.
"Just to make sure.. You're mom wont be walking in here anytime soon right?" I asked with a smile. A smile appeared on his face.
"I just hope not." He said laughing.
I gave him a tight hug.
