Chapter 37

Jacky's P.O.V

I slowly took a seat next to my brother.
"Good. The both of you are here. Now.." He said but I cut him off.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned not so sweetly.
"Excuse me?" I asked questionably.
"You. What are you doing here? You made us believe you were dead. You made mom believe you were dead. You're the reason she's dead! And now you magically show up?! The hell!?" I yelled infuriated.

"Jacky.. I can explain. Just please. Sit back down." He said motioning to my seat. I reluctantly took a seat.
"Explain." I spat out.

He sucked in a breath.
"Ok.. The reason for my absence was because.. I never really loved your mother.. I'm sorry to say but.. I just didn't. My wolf did but I.. I didn't. When I knew you guys were old enough I left.
I set up a fake attack and put my scent all over it.
I truly loved you kids but you're mother was to controlling. She never had any fun.
Over the years my wolf grew weak and soon lost connection with me. I tried to come back to see you guys but.. I thought it would be to much on you.
So-" I cut him off once again.

"What the hell!?! You left us just because you didn't love our mother!? Also! You didn't love our mother!?? She was your mate! Your soul mate! How could you do such a thing!? You.. You're a monster! You don't love anyone! You.. No! I refuse to call you my father anymore! You have caused to much problems in my life and Mikes! You caused our mother to die! She killed herself over you! You worthless piece of a person! No! Just no! If you're asking for forgiveness there is no way I'll ever forgive you! No!" I yelled at him.

I wanted to attack him right now. He's the reason I lost my mother!
I walked to him and slapped him right across the face. He fully deserved that.
I glared at him one last time and stormed out. I couldn't even stand being in the same room as him.
If Mike forgives him.. Jessica truly shouldn't be living in a household like that..

My father is a horrible person and a horrible role model. If his actions affect Mike I will truly kill him.

Jessica's P.O.V

Sammy and I got bored so we decided to some baking. We were both craving cookies to I pulled out some cookie dough. I got a stool for her stand on so she would be able to reach the counter.

"Jessie.. Can I eat some cookie dough?" She asked with puppy dog eyes. Man.. Her puppy dog eyes were so much cuter than mine..
"Of course. But don't tell your mommy." I giggled and she grabbed a piece and stuffed in her mouth. She smiled as she ate it.

"Where is my mommy anyway?" She asked rolling a ball of cookie dough.
"She went out.." I said. I really wasn't sure where Jacky went..
"Ok." She said happily and continued to roll the cookie dough.

I heard the front door slam and I peered around the corner to see who it was.
I saw Jacky walking towards us and she didn't seem happy...
"Mommy! Look what Aunt Jessie and I are making." Sammy said holding up a piece of cookie dough.

Jacky did a small fake smile towards Jacky and it soon disappeared.
"Jacky.. You ok?" I asked worried.
"Yea. Can you continue to watch Sammy for me? I just need to collect my thoughts." She said and walked right past me. I stood there confused on what just happened but blinked and payed my attention back to Sammy.

When we were done with the cookies and they were done baking we put them on a plate and took them to the T.V room with us. We watched mine and Sammy's favorite movie finding movie while eating them.

It was around 8 and Sammy soon dozed off with her head on my lap.
I started to doze off but when I heard the front door slam shut I was wide awake. I gently moved Sammy's head off of me and placed a blanket over her.

I walked to the front door and found Mike. He was all out of breath and.. Just didn't seem like himself.

"Mike..? You ok?" I asked a bit worried.
He seemed in a daze.
"Mike..? Sweety?" I asked stepping towards him. He suddenly jolted up and I jumped back.
"Mike..." I said scared of the way he's acting.
He didn't even aknowledge me..

I turned around and was going to head back to Sammy but I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and pull me back. I let out a small scream.
Mike pushed me up against the wall and kissed me hungrily.

I pushed him back and stared at him shocked at how he was acting.
"Are you ok?" I asked placing my hands on his chest.
He moved my hands and kissed me.
"I'm more than alright. I love you and I'll never leave you." He said and kissed me preventing me from responding.

Why was he acting so strange?
