Gajeel kept looking back at his watch every three seconds. He was so ready to be done with this period.
He was not fan of working with classmates, much less working along with what seemed like a peppy blonde. He'd rather do this alone, he was probably a much better singer than her anyways. She was a dancer from what he recalled and this could be an embarrassment. Making a dancer sing doesn't always work out.
"What are the song choices?" He asked, his lyric packet probably back at his dorm under a pile of clothing or something. Noticing this, Lucy opened to the page and scanned through it briefly.
"Why don't you take a look, I'm okay with whatever." She replied, handing him the papers.
He grunted but took the packet, scanning through the songs. He mentally listened to them, thinking them through before pointing to a name of a song, "This one."
Lucy looked over his shoulder and nodded, "Okay, I can work with that. Karaoke or...?"
"Nah, I'm in a band, I know how to play instruments. We only need a launch pad and a violin." She nodded again, "I can play violin, but I haven't learned to use a launch pad yet."
"No worries, I can do that. It's not too hard to work it, maybe I'll show you how to use it one of these days." Gajeel shrugged, looking over the lyrics, "I'm surprised she would allow this kind of song." He says referencing back to the teacher.
"Yeah, but I guess she assumes it's okay since I'm pretty sure we all know curse words." Lucy said, giving a half-hearted laugh. "Alright, let's get to work, I'll go get the instruments."

Erza wasn't too sure about this extra dance class.
She shifted uncomfortably in front of her new classmates as the teacher introduced her.
"My name is Erza. Erza Scarlet." She stated after he asked.
"Erza," Mr. Cancer began, "Mira tells me you were recruited through a last minute choreographed showcase performance, why don't you join the advanced group?"
She bit her lip, scanning over the teens who stood watching her; a particular group smiled invitingly. Her eyes came in contact with a bluenette with a tattoo over his eye who winked at her.
"Alright," she replied, walking over to the group nervously.
The pink haired girl in the group spoke first. "Hi! I'm Meredy and this is Ultear, and this blueberry weirdo is Jellal and we've been working on this project--" Erza blinked rappidly, trying to follow the pinkette's words. The blue haired boy known as Jellal noticed. "Woah, Meredy, slow down." He placed a hand on the pink haired girl's hair as she blinked back to Erza.
"Oh, sorry. I just get so excited when we meet people with natural talent." She said sheepishly. Erza cracked a smile, "That's alright, I think I was able to follow along anyways. I learn quickly, or so I've been told."
